  Usually love this place....its now hit or miss...This time got two orders of ugly tips full of fat so embarrassing would never have served this to a customer...

  Nice people, I ordered the large rib tip and Root beer at the monee Fair. It came with 2 slices of white bread and fries I paid $22.81. Well, the sauce has a nice flavor........the tips (over cooked) with no flavor 80 percent burnt. The fries under cooked! Like eating raw cut potatoes. Very disappointed, I was hoping to sink my teeth into delicious flavored rib tips. I don't know if it's because it's outside at a fair where sometimes the food is cooked quickly at a fast pace for large customers lines or if it's always this way. I don't know, but I give this meal 2 thumbs down. I wish I could get my money back.

  Ok after thinking about this BBQ place all day, I finally got there I wanted turkey tips with fries and coleslaw, turkey tips were not ready this was about 5:30 in the evening. So I had the pork tips hot link combo, and the ox tails that was on special for 2 days only. Mind you I live in Bourbonnais. The ribtips were bland sauce was not good and tasted like sunflower seeds,ox tails was ok but string beans were not good plus I didn't get any cole slaw with my combo.I am so disappointed if I didn't live so far away I would bring it back. I am a first and last time customer, I try to support our black business but with product like this it's hard. I pray you guys succeed. I am out of $55😩

  Rib tips were pretty tender and had a good flavor and smoke taste. Hot links were cooked well, had a nice snap, good flavor and good amount of heat. The bbq sauce was a nice balance of savory and sweet and was really good. I was not a fan of the sides that I tried. The greens lacked flavor and moisture, baked beans might as well been straight out of the can, and Mac and cheese had a strange tangy flavor. The portion size was pretty small too, although the mini tip and link was enough food for me. The service was great, very polite. The atmosphere was nice, played some checkers and jenga while we waited for our order. Smelled delicious in there when we walked through the door, immediately was hit with the scent of smoky bbq. Overall good experience, will definitely be back.
