  Pizza is usually pretty good here, though my last order appears to have been undercooked and I paid the price in the middle of the night. And, my pick up time was pushed out twice. If you want pizza, like I said, it's usually pretty good here. Everything else we've tried has be mediocre at best. Heck, when we tried their chicken sandwich, the one that comes with wedge fries? We got literally 5 crinkle cut fries. Stick to pizza here.

  If you are from Chicago proper and are used to REAL Pizza with great, flavorful sauce. This is the best pizza in McHenry by far. My wife and I eat here weekly. We love pizza and have eaten at every pizza place in McHenry and most of Crystal Lake. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

  Having lived in Chicago for the last 25 years an have been to Leona's in the city a few times as well as their other now closed restaurant HopHaus. It was good. But this location... this many years later... I even had to ask of this was a franchise because of how bad it was. It took the host (also our server) 20 minutes to come take our order. There were 6 of us and there were only 2 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant at 5pm on a Saturday. When we ordered we found out half the menu wasn't available. No chicken tenders, no lasagna. The table of Leona's, LASAGNA was sold out by 5pm on an empty house Saturday. While we were waiting for our server we noticed the overall uncleanliness of the restaurant and the (clean) stack of plates for pizza on the table were not fully clean... there was dried pizza sauce and cheese on one. When the food came out... the spaghetti and meatballs looked aweful, full of grease and just poor cooking level. My chicken Parm was super dry. The mighty Leona's has fallen and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

  Ok….so we gave this place three chances..unfortunately, they were all strikes. Cold food. No flavor. And this last run really aggravated me. So first of all they were trying to charge me $26!!!!! For FETUCINI ALFREDO WITH 6 shrimp in it!!! ARE YALL FORREAL!!!??! That’s nuts! Then called me and told me the calamari I ordered, THEY NO LONGER CARRY!!!??? Yall JUST OPENED!!! fix your menu and get it together! I swear that location is cursed!
