  I’ve been here 3 times and the food is ok at best. My biggest concern, and what will keep me away, is the way management talks to their employees. The bald manager lady is extremely rude and the way I’ve seen her treat and speak to the employees turned me all the way off. I simply won’t return to this establishment. I hope these employees find better cause she seems like a nightmare to work for

  Its been awhile since I visited this Cafe. It was still So Delicious 😋. Toya was our Waitress. OH MY she has great customer service and her patience was Great! My husband was so aggravating and picky 🙄 🤦🏾‍♀️ She handle him well(all in good fun)😊. Food temp on point, taste good and plated well. Atmosphere was chill@ 2p Im done reporting Over to you all. HURRY GO CHECK IT OUT! Ask for Toya.😊

  FRIED CHICKEN WINGS DAUGHTER HAD LACK SEASON.OLD GREASE.GUMBO TO MUCH HOT SPICE FOR A 75 YEAR OLD SENIOR.SO I WAS TOLD BY THE WAITER ORDER SOMETHING ELES .I ORDER SOMETHING ELES.GOT BILL CHARGE ME 75 DOLLARS. CHARGE ME FOR THE HOT GUMBO I WAS NOT ABLE TO EAT BECAUSE OF THE SPICEY HOT PEPPER FOOD.I COMPLAIN SHE TOOK IT OFF THE BILL.SHE TOOK GUMBO BACK TO KITCHEN. WHICH WAS FINE.FIRST AND LAST TIME.IT TOOK ME 4 DAYS TO POST.DID NOT WANT TO BECAUSE IT IS A BLACK OWN BUSINESS.GOT TO DO BETTER!!!!!!

  I had the Shrimp and grits and added a side of collard greens. I liked the collards. They were seasoned and cooked well not tough!. The Shrimp and grits was not good something was off with the flavor/seasoning but it had the spice and I could see seasoning 🤷🏽‍♀️. My friend had the catfish and said it was ok but tasted like it was fried in old grease. And her soup tasted like it was out of the can. (She told out waiter)I noticed she added a lot of pepper and she usually doesn't add a lot. I also noticed when the server brought out wings for the table next to use they looked dark and greasy like it was old grease. Our service was excellent! He was attentive. Ive had my heart set on trying this place and was disappointed hopefully it was just off today. I may try 1 more time to give them a fair shot because of all the good things I've heard in the past.

  The food was ok. It wasn’t much flavor. The waitress charged 20% for gratuity but it was a sign by the register that said 20% gratuity for parties of five or more. It was only 2 of us there so does that same gratuity apply to groups of less than 5 also. If so than the sign is misleading. They was out of stock for hot water cornbread. They only had two desserts options available. Today is a Saturday food should be fully stocked. The meal I ordered was shrimp and salmon it only came with three shrimp. The other meal ordered was etouffee it was thick instead of more liquifying. We also ordered peach cobbler to go that was ok tasting. We both had more peaches in the bowl than anything. We didn’t get much crust in it just one tiny piece with a bowl full of peaches. The fresh squeezed lemonade was good and the mocktail was good. Most likely won’t return.
