  The Taco Bell night shift in Macomb, Illinois seriously has a lot of problems. Most of the late-night staff constantly go outside for smoking or other suspicious activities and then come back and prepare food without properly cleaning their hands. These things should already be visible on the store’s CCTV cameras, so it’s hard to understand why higher management does not take any action. Their behavior is also extremely rude, especially toward DoorDash drivers. Drivers often have to wait for a very long time just to pick up an order. After waiting behind 8-10 cars in the drive-thru, staff will sometimes tell drivers to “go around again,” forcing them to wait through the entire line another time. This happens regularly and feels completely intentional. Inside the store, it often looks like hardly anyone is actually working properly. Some employees are busy on their phones, some are dancing or singing, while usually only one person is actually doing the work. Meanwhile, others keep going outside repeatedly for smoking or other activities. The late-night staff attitude is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful toward both customers and delivery drivers. Food safety, hygiene, and customer service are clearly not being handled properly. Taco Bell higher management seriously needs to review the CCTV footage and take proper action. Employees who continuously behave like this should not represent the company and should be removed from the job.

  Food is never cooked right. Quesadillas barely have any cheese, crunch wraps have nothing inside them, potato tacos are dry and the potato’s are rock hard. The execution when the staff cooks is almost always horrible. It’s so bad, save yourself and get food from anywhere else.

  it is unprofessional and extremely upsetting to allow orders to continue being accepted on the app even tho you are out of EVERYTHING. please get it together. it’s frustrating to spend money and not have that money for another 3 days because no one turned app orders off when they realized that they could not fulfill them. do better.

  Lightning fast service, the food was great and fresh. They accommodated my burrito to replace my rice with potatoes because there were out. The atmosphere was lively and the workers were all super friendly and polite.
