I have never been compelled to leave a long, bad review before. This is also a DIRECT reflection on owners and management, not the staff. We arrived and stood and waited to be sat for 15 minutes. After being sat and receiving drinks, it was an additional 15-20 minutes before we were asked what we would order for food. Food then took about an hour to be brought to our table evidently by kitchen staff and it was not made correctly (cheese burger missing cheese.. etc) & clearly had been sitting waiting to be brought out for awhile. All that was ordered was a cheese burger and a sampler. During this whole time, it was observed by me and my boyfriend how short staffed it was for 9pm. Owners/management having it short to the point clearly kitchen staff is helping with a waitresses job because she is being overworked is insane. Having someone work a bar and wait tables shouldn’t be aloud, that waitress had no time to breathe. She was constantly running, trying her best to serve her tables while running a bar. Tables everywhere had plates stacked because bussing was behind. Tables not properly cleaned and dirty. My review is not directed towards staff, but whoever put them in the position to be treated that way. It is disrespectful to your employees, and directly affected everyone who was a customer by immense wait times. Do better for your staff and customers, I should’ve looked at the reviews before coming in tonight. It’s clear the new ownership is the problem.

Hello , I am writing about the horrible service I received at the Machesney park IL location specifically with server Morgyn. We stood for 17 minutes watching servers and staff walk by and not even acknowledge us. Finally when server morgyn came over she said do you have a pick up because I’m busy. I said it was my birthday but my app has my birthday wrong but I could show my ID to show today is my birthday. She said well I don’t control that so I can’t help you. She then ignored us and continued doing drinks for someone. We ended up walking out. Not sure what’s going on with this location but it definitely needs a class on customer service. Several others behind me walked out when they waited as well with no service.

Went here 6/16/26 (Monday)I came in to order because I was paying with cash. I order my food, had to wait over 45 minutes for my order. I go back home which isn’t far, food was ice cold. I called to speak with manager and was on hold for 15 minutes. I had to call back then I got the manager Chula. This manager told me that she could refund the money but she was gonna be off a few days and she would call me back (Saturday)because the restaurant had a new system and she didn’t really know how to refund cash. Come Saturday no call as I expected. I go into the establishment tried to speak with Chula……. she wasn’t there. Spoke with manager Terry. Told him the situation, he mentioned I could only do cash refund same day as order…. He was willing to remake my order. I got my order not surprised that part of my food was old and cold and on top of that the young lady at the cashier spot told me my order didn’t come with fries when I know it did and told her all she had to do was look at the original receipt. I know she was a new employee but be diligent. How can you mess up the remake order???? This reminded me why I haven’t been to this Buffalo Wild Wings in years. Piss poor.

Such an awful experience. Started with the host who couldn't speak above a mumble and he sat us at a table where we couldnt access one side since the guests at the next table were (as they should be) pushed back from their table and relaxing. We asked for a table that had more space and he mumble something about the open tables we could see not being in an open section. I had to personally ask the other guest if they don't mind scooting in a little bit so we could sit down. When we ordered food our sweet waitress Lily said it would take a while, and this was a red flag off the bat. When we got our appetizers, the cheese curds were warm but the ultimate nachos were laughable. The chips barely touched from side to side of the pan and there was ZERO visible cheese. 3/4 of the chips were dry with no toppings, like what the heck? When Lily brought our 60 wings out (so expensive we bought in bulk to try and get the best deal), she asked if they were hot and insisted we checked. They were not :( she seemed frustrated and said that's not right and she will give us a discount. She said after waiting so long for our food the wings should at least be piping hot. Overall the birthday dinner was incredibly disappointing and we had to work hard to make it a good experience for our nephews. We heard that only one cook was on duty which is crazy for a Saturday with so many sports games going on. Management failed big time to mismanage a prime day like this. Call in another Cook or get on the line yourself. We will not be back to this BWW and honestly I'm not interested in visiting a BWW again.

This was the worst Buffalo wild wings experience I've ever had in my life. It was for my nephews 21st birthday and there were four of us. I regret trying this place out. This was the first time I went to this location and the last. There was nothing good about this visit. Every single element was an utter failure starting with a young host to seat us. He spoke in a whisper, seemed utterly depressed like he didn't want to be there and didn't care at all about his job. Half the room had empty tables, but there were still three groups in line waiting to be seated. He seated us between the wall and a huge party at a table where there was hardly any space. I asked him why he didn't seat us further away from the cramped party. He said that area is not open. Whoever is the manager of this restaurant is clearly a child and doesn't know how to manage. The waitress asked for our drink order and we said waters, then she said okay I'll go get waters so you can figure out your drink orders as if she was offended that we weren't ordering drinks. Since the wings are so freaking expensive, like $2 for 1 dinky little wing I knew we were going to have to buy in bulk to get the best deal so we ordered two 30 piece bone in wings for like $43 each which is crazy and also two appetizers. The waitress apologized ahead of time for the delay in food delivery because apparently all the food orders were being delayed. My 21-year-old nephew wanted cheese curds, and I wanted to order a second appetizer that's bulky so that he could eat most of the cheese curds. Ultimate nachos sounded like a good option full of ingredients, but when the nachos came they had nothing but squeeze cheese and a few jalapenos in them and not many chips for 12$!! Literally no visible actual cheese and the chips were very low quality, worse than store-bought bag chips. It was a huge disappointment but I didn't want to complain and ruined my nephew's 21st birthday outing so we kept it to a minimum. My younger nephew didn't want his water so I placed it on the empty table next to us that had trash on the chairs. When the bus lady came she asked if the water was ours and I said yes but my nephew doesn't want it, then she gave us a cold dirty look like we should have kept it on our already cramped table. 🙄 When the 60 wings came after a loooong while they were almost cold, and our waitress immediately asked us if our wings were hot so I checked and told her they're lukewarm, so she immediately said she was going to give us a discount because of that. It was as if everyone's wings we're being delivered cold. The wings were not only cold, but they were overcooked, shrunk, and tough like jerky. It was a dismal sight. The bill for 60 wings, two crappy appetizers, and a few drinks ended up being like $130. The waitresses attitude became more positive after we ordered the 60 wings and she realized we weren't cheapskates so we did reluctantly end up giving her a good tip anyways because we figured there were probably so many unhappy customers in that place and she probably wasn't making good tips. We were so glad to get out of that place, and it was such a waste of money. It was the most getto-fied BWW I've ever been to and we will not be back. That place is run by children and managed by children. My nephew who is a cook at a different restaurant said that he had a friend that works there and found out apparently there was only one young cook supporting all the food for the whole restaurant. No wonder. The place needs to either be shut down or the management needs to be replaced. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE ENJOYING YOUR TIME AND MEAL.
