  The Panera bread on Riverside has diner seating. It's better as a to-go place than eat in.

  Every single time I come here I received terrible service. It's never busy but you have to wait 15 minutes in line. Worst Panera location ever. They're making a terrible name for the franchise. Needs new management.

  This is the worst run Panera I've ever been to. Been here I think three times since starting a new job nearby and only keep coming out of convenience because my wife enjoys Panera and I can't seem to talk her out of it. Totally got her online order wrong the first visit. Thought it was a fluke. Second online order, ended up waiting 30 minutes in store until getting a notification that the order was done but it wasn't on the pickup shelf. They explained that they didn't have the ingredients for the food. Pretty annoyed and was compensated a coupon for a you-pick-two well after I expressed my frustration. Third visit was to use the coupon. Came in store and waited at the counter for probably 3 minutes until someone finally even acknowledged me and said they would be a moment after several people clearly saw me waiting. Sad thing is that I will probably keep coming back for my wife's sake but the service here is truly atrocious. I would go to another location if you can help it. Edit: Came back again, much better experience from the team lead, Meaghan, who was covering from the Machesney store. Was quick to assist, cheerful, and nothing short of amazing!

  Had a small mix up with my order and they went above and beyond to rectify. They delivered the missing cream cheese within 15 minutes and threw in some treats for the mix up. Accidents happen, but that customer service recovery was phenomenal.

  Waste of time. We came in for two bagels. The bagels delivered did not have the cream cheese as requested nor were they properly toasted. We waited for over 15 minutes to receive our order. The screen said the order was ready when it wasn't. Furthermore, we paid close to for these bagels and the quality has significantly slipped at here at Panera. It used to be that Panera had phenomenal bakery items. It was a place that we would bring people to now. Many of their restaurants, including this one have significantly decreased their quality and quantity of food all the while increasing their prices. Regrettably I must encourage you not to waste your time at the store.
