  Señor Jalapeño was a really strong dining experience overall, especially when it came to the food. I ordered the el pastor and it was easily the highlight of the visit. The flavor was incredible, a true explosion of seasoning and heat that came through in every bite. The meat was tender, well-marinated, and balanced nicely with the toppings. It’s the kind of dish that stands out immediately and makes you want to come back just for that alone. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, which made the experience more comfortable from the start. The line wasn’t too long either, and things moved at a decent pace, so it never felt like a long wait to get served. There was an incident during my visit where I was harassed by an individual who was making strange gestures toward me and others in the area. It was definitely uncomfortable in the moment, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally, and the person was made to leave. That response helped keep the situation from affecting the overall experience more than it did. Despite that interruption, I have to say it didn’t impact my overall opinion much because the food and service were still solid. Overall, Señor Jalapeño delivers great food, especially the el pastor, in a clean and efficient environment, with staff that are willing to step in when needed. I would definitely come back again for the food alone.

  Phenomenal experience eating here. The service was top notch. Angie was great! The food is also very delicious. Definitely recommend.

  Came for dinner and Angie was our waitress. All the food here was halal. The service was amazing. Tacos 👌🏾 chef’s kiss. Would come back again.

  My favorite Mexican food in Chicagoland. Food is always delicious (and everything is halal), service is always great, little to no wait time even with one chef working the kitchen. Could not recommend you try it more.

  Ordered steak tacos picked them up went home ate ...went to bed woke at 5:15 a.m. with gastric distress,pain ,vomiting,and diarrhea etc,chills were great too. From breakfast all the way to dinner no other food was consumed that day. Had to be them....Usually not big into strip mall restaurants cook your own u know what's safe then. Winthappen again
