  This is my last time going to this location. I've been going here for about a year now due to it being the closest and hypothetically most convinent, but that just isn't the case. I will start by saying most employees that work here are generally extremely kind and helpful, but it's clear that this location is severely understaffed. The checkout lines are always very long and there's usually only one, maybe two checkstands open. Self check out isn't always an option if I'm picking up many items. The last several times I visited, the cashiers weren't very friendly, and ignored me when I said hello and asked how they were. Almost every time I shop here I find expired items on the shelves. A couple weeks ago it was tortillas expired by a week, and my last visit, it was a whole shelf of rice from December 2025. It's very rare that items are stocked first in first out, and many of the products in nearly every department are either in the wrong location with the wrong price/UPC/SKU or missing a price tag altogether. They also started packing in displays on every isle corner and every walkway, making it difficult to shop and very hard to move through the store. My last visit here I also found an old nail that got caught in my basket wheel on one of the isles. When I brought it to an associate he looked confused, and didn't know why I was giving it to him to dispose of. It's dangerous to throw away sharp objects like that in normal trash cans, as it can rip the bag or injure the person taking it out. I'm going to try to see if any other locations near me are better, but it's just becoming too frustrating to shop here and scan the expiration date and tag of every item I want to buy, and then wait even longer just to check out.

  sent in grocery order around 4:45. Received a message to pick up between 7-8 p.m. . Received another at 7:45 pm, groceries are being shopped. 8:08 Pm ready for pick up.8:15 trying to let Jewel know I was in lot for pick up. apparently they sent me the wrong code, so in I go to ask for groceries, they want me to take them, NO please bring to my car and load. Now I decide to check groceries..... wrong water, wanted spring received drinking, shorted 2 cases of soda, received something I did not order, seriously is this standard???

  I switched from villa park store to lombard because VP was so bad. And now you are following in there footsteps. The pickup I got had moldy cucumbers noticed as I took them out of bag so very visible. My white bread was smashed completely so can't make sandwiches need to run to another store for bread. And I couldn't get a refund because it never showed up on my account like it usually does. I use pick up for the convenience but you need people who shop to act like they are buying it for themselves. Update where is contact us page I've looked no such thing but just do better.
