Our new outpost in Libertyville will provide customers with a curated selection of breads and pastries made at our Evanston bakehouse and delivered to this location every morning. In a time of big box stores and large chains, Hewn is a return back to a smaller, independently owned and operated artisan bakery. All of our breads are hand-shaped and naturally fermented without commercial yeast or any preservatives, chemicals, or additives. We work with a dozen local farmers to source our grains, produce and dairy. We utilize stone-milled grains that enable our products to have incredible flavor and texture.
