  My husband and I have been looking forward to trying Sorellina by Giada - and honestly, mixed reviews. Food: Pretty good. The roasted shrimp appetizer was amazing; the focaccia, dry and crumbly. I tried a white Negroni - much smoother and sweeter than its traditional counterpart. The lemon spaghetti was amazing. I would go back for that without hesitation. My husband had the bucatini with scallops, and he thought it was "ok." The service: From our server - disappointing. She was very friendly, but disappeared for long stretches. After 10 minutes of waiting to be greeted, my husband asked a different server if they could take our drink order. When we ordered an appetizer, she encouraged us to also order our entrees so she could "time" things ... yet was nowhere to be found once our food was served. She didn't ask if we wanted additional beverages (the GM actually took that order) and disappeared again after dropping off dessert menus. But then there was the star of the evening - Mikah, who turns out to be the new general manager. He greeted us when we first arrived and found a table when we discovered that our reservation was actually at Sorella by Giada -- not Sorellina by Giada (more on that below). He is the one who noticed us looking for our server while eating our entrees and came over to get us a second round of drinks. And when our server went missing again after dropping off dessert menus, he stopped by to take our order and then comped our dessert. So service wasn't great and not what we expected for a restaurant of this caliber. But all signs show that the GM does know what makes great service and hopefully can help lead improvements in that area. As for Sorella ... well, we learned Giada has a restaurant at the Aurora casino. lol We booked the reservation on mobile when we were on the road and closer to that casino, so we're guessing that's why Sorella came up first. We didn't notice the difference until we showed up. Another thank you to Mikah for saving the day.

  The atmosphere and service are very good. Unfortunately, the food is NOT worth the price. I ordered paccheri with shrimp. The shrimp was an extra $12. There was only TWO shrimp in the dish! $6/ shrimp! Totally ridiculous! Also the food was too spicy to be enjoyable in my opinion.

  Very nice upscale restaurant with fresh, high quality food and service. Dani and James took great care of us. Would certainly return again.

  The service and food were outstanding. Our server was Tai. She was super attentive. We never had to search for her. My husband had the pork chops, I had a pasta with shrimp and capers, my son had the petit filet. The focaccia and lemon butter was perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

  The food and atmosphere here were great, but I give the service ten stars. The first time we came we had Becca as our waitress. She was extremely attentive and personable that she made us want to come back again. The next time we went Becca was not working, so we sat at the bar and Jackie and Jose gave great service as well. We will be back!
