  Food was great but I arrived 10min after the email and text said my food would be ready for pick up and the food still wasn’t even started. The guys there seemed confused about an order being placed online and asked me about 3x to see my receipt to confirm the order and start cooking. Needless to say I had to sit there and wait for the order about another 10-20min to be done. No apology on their behalf.

  My experience with this Harolds was HORRIBLE. I was willing to over look the extreme amount of black pepper they doused on my food. Started eating, then thought, this can't be an Original Harolds Chicken restaurant The taste definitely not the same, not bad, but not what I was expecting. Good crunch but mild sauce different. Then I thought where is my bread. OK, so maybe this copycat restaurant does not serve the requisite piece of bread. We'll I found it, wish I hadn't, what restaurant serves you a butt end piece of bread. I say ok, I'll write a review. Here you go. Don't bother going to this rendition of Harolds. But it gets better, pulled my napkin out to use, straightened it out, guess what, it was a brown paper towel that you get from the paper towel dispensers hanging over the sinks in bathrooms that you use to dry your hands. I couldn't take anymore because at this point I'm worried about hygiene conditions, food prep and generally my health. I got sick to the stomach. So I called, initially no answer, so I waited and called back, explained to the young man who answered what my issues were. He informed me that he couldn't help me that I would have to speak with the manager, on tomorrow. OK, no problem, what is the managers name? I asked this several times, without a response, then someone else picked up the phone he was rude, trying to over speak me, however never giving the managers name. Very Rude. Then he hangs up on me. Well, Well I will be paying a visit tomorrow with order in hand. Needless to say don't waste your time nor your hard earned money on this KNOCK OFF!!!!

  I spent $81 on a plan ahead order set for 7:45 P.M. I placed the order at 4:25. I got there on time and still had to wait 20+ minutes to receive my food. Then I get home with food for my whole family and my sister in laws 13$ meal is missing. I drive the 20 minutes back to get her food just to be argued with by the cashier, who felt it was appropriate to talk to me as if I was trying to scam free food from them and arguing that he put it in the bag. The food here is no where near good enough for me to have driven back 20 minutes to scam a meal. Now I had to wait another 20+ minutes for the one meal all while getting dirty looks from the cashier as if I did something wrong. I have worked in customer service for almost 20 years and have never spoken to or treated a customer the way that I was. We will not be ordering here again.

  My daughter sent me a picture and said I’m at Harold’s ! I love Harold’s so she brought me some back. I warmed it in the oven cause no good fried chicken should be microwaved. Sadly disappointed it tasted gross rubbery and old. Too bad this place in Addison gives the good Harold’s a bad name.

  I’m from Houston with some of the best chicken is in Texas but this Harold’s is booming and the guy working has very good customer service and he turned me on to the lemon pepper and Mild sauce on the food was fire and some of the best chicken I’ve had
