  We had a great time at the Rainforest Cafe! We brought a 2 year old and 7 month old, and they both loved it. Our server, Gia, was so nice and great with the kids! She was great at interacting with our little ones. They accommodated well for allergies too! We can’t wait to take them back here sometime.

  Expensive food but yeah your at a mall. Food was ok at best. Most of the dishes we ordered were uneatable. Kids pizza cold and mushy steak was ordered med. Raw. Had to send back. Ranch was so watered down it was white water. But again it's at the mall but for 130 for 4 people is not good.

  Jennifer the manger is completely unprofessional and very rude. We book my son’s birthday party every year this is our third year booking. The servers Iona and McKayla were amazing! We had informed them it was split checks and they said was FINE, as they do every year. Just for the manger to combine all the split checks at the end. This was a major problem for her, she said our party was problematic laughed at me and said she’s happy we aren’t booking here another year because they don’t need our money and reassured me they have more guest coming in. SO SO SO unprofessional. She has no control of her emotions or anger it’s so sad to see she of left in charge. She said “oh but I was nice all night and courteous” YOU GET PAID TO DELIVER GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Our cake was rushed didn’t have time to take pictures told us to pay and leave. Servers were taken care of with over 20% tip per usual. But the manager Jennifer killed this night for us. It seemed the servers didn’t take her seriously either which is not a good look. Rainforest Cafe needs SERIOUS re-training to do.

  We came from about 3 hours away for my son's birthday dinner. We love Rainforest Cafe and go any time we get the chance. The food is always amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and it's just such a cool place to be. There's always something to look at. We were seated under the starry night, and it was so pretty!

  Karla made my son’s 6th birthday absolutely unforgettable! She went above and beyond from the moment she introduced herself and truly made him feel like the most important person in the restaurant. Rainforest Cafe in Gurnee has become a yearly birthday tradition for our family, and every single visit reminds us why we keep coming back. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly, from the gift shop staff all the way through the end of our meal. This visit was extra special because of Karla. She had my son laughing, having fun, and shouting “VOLCANO!” with her. She made the experience so interactive and exciting, and even took the time to decorate a sweet birthday note for him. She truly made him feel like a birthday king. Thank you, Karla, for making his day so memorable. We will absolutely be back again next year and many more years after that. Rainforest Cafe continues to be one of our favorite birthday traditions!
