  We celebrated both of our kids’ birthdays at Rainforest Cafe and it was honestly such an amazing experience! The atmosphere was SO fun and magical — the kids were absolutely obsessed and loved every second of it. Between the animals, sounds, and overall vibe, it made the whole celebration feel extra special. Colleen was fantastic and made everything even better with such great service and kindness. The food was amazing too, which honestly surprised me in the best way. I grew up going to Rainforest Cafe as a kid, so it was really nostalgic getting to experience it now with my own children. I seriously wish we lived closer because we’d go all the time. Honestly, even as an adult, I want to go there for my own birthday now 😂 Highly recommend for families and anyone wanting a really fun, memorable experience!

  Made reservations here 1 week prior the date. Drove an hour just to get there, arrived before our reservation time, checked-in and was told that they would text us when our table was ready (mind you there was no where to sit) After 15 minutes we checked in again and were told it would be another 20 minutes or so before our table was ready. Meanwhile other people without reservations were being seated. I realized that this was a busy day and apparently the kitchen was short staffed because they were backed up, but no one apologized for the wait and no one approached us. We waited another 10 minutes and still no text or table! At a few minutes to the hour past our original reservation time; we left to find food elsewhere. We had an 83 years old woman with us that could not wait any longer to eat! And at exactly one hour after our original reservation, they texted saying that our table was ready. We at this point were already eating crappy mall food! We were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant and while I completely understand things happen, they should have handled this situation very differently and at the very least apologized for the ridiculously long wait. Especially since we had made these reservations a while ago! Very disappointed to say the least! We would have even sat at the bar if it meant being served!

  I have loved rainforest cafe since I was a little girl. I brought my husband my friend and most importantly my son so he could experience the magic of rainforest cafe. Our server was absolutely amazing. However the balloon boy was not. My husband knew how important it was for us to have the full experience so he kindly asked the balloon boy if me my friend and son could have balloons. He very sincerely said he had two tables ahead of us then would circle back to us. He then circled around to tables making eye contact with our table and then looking away. We then proceeded to watch him run full speed into the kitchen and loop through to then run full speed and I’m talking full speed passed our table while making eye contact and out the front of the restaurant. Long story short we did not get balloons :(. Not gonna lie it was hilarious that he so badly didn’t want to make 3 more balloon animals that he sprinted through the restaurant to avoid doing it. I don’t know what that was all about lowkey kinda weird but whatever. On top of all of that the lady who takes photos went to every table except for ours which was sad because I wanted to document my sons first rainforest cafe trip. But I’ll give her some mercy because we didnt ask her and she didn’t lie to us like balloon boy did. In conclusion do better balloon boy.

  The reason my rating is so low is because of interaction with management. We had a wonderful experience with our waiter, however hearing management speak negatively about staff and guests is truly heartbreaking. Me and my husband understand that everyone’s human and has their own feelings but to talk negatively about the staff by people who are eating (by bar area) is completely unprofessional. Now days it’s very difficult to find a positive workplace, you would think in such a positive environment like the Rainforest Cafe that the managers would be upholding to the environment and the respect of staff. Please be more kind and be careful when talking negatively about staff and people paying to eat at your establishment. We do hear you. I hope someone will reach out to me about this and please don’t take this negative review out on the waiter.

  My family took me here for my birthday this past Saturday. This was our first time coming here. It started out great!! We had an amazing sever named Chantz, who was great with explaining the menu, and making us feel welcomed. Then things took a turn when our food took too long coming out which resulted in him being told to switch severs. Chantz was booted from our table unfortunately, and a new server was introduced. Now, all this new waitress had to do at this point was pretty much give us our check. Chantz had already done it all. From the second our new server arrived, it got awkward and weird.. When we simply asked about getting our check the new server gave us an earfull of how management was handling the situation, along with all this crazy stuff that we had no idea what she was talking about. I guess she misunderstood the question, we just simply wanted our check. We were left so confused, and in shock. We didn't even know who was recieving the tip or who was going to cash us out. We wanted to tip to show our appreciation to Chantz, but we were made to feel like we couldn't, if we did then he'd get in trouble with management which was strange because he did all the work. They whole situation was so bizzare. Chantz took out the time to talk with us, and help us navigate the menu, then he was booted. He wasn't even clocking out before our table cashed out either. He was there the whole time, so why did they switch servers? We were told that it was because the cooks didn't get the food out in a timely fashion. Which was fine. We were just hanging out with family, so we weren't mad at all. It ruined the whole vibe. My daughter wanted to tell the new server that it was my birthday, but the server had us feeling so awkward that we just ended the dinner earlier than intended, and left. We actually left pretty quick after our food arrived. I didn't even finish my dinner, and asked for a to go box. So, in conclusion, I want to say that the whole visit was a good experience, but I can't. It was, until it wasn't anymore.
