Very nice , I had my cortado and I am very happy to sat it was excellent.thanknyou 😎
My favorite matcha place! The drinks are amazing and the staff is so sweet and kind! I go here daily and I’m never disappointed! 💚
Very cute, friendly atmosphere. Great place for socializing or doing work
We hosted a private birthday party at Storybook Café and could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful from start to finish. The space is absolutely beautiful and perfect for an event: the book theme, the warm atmosphere, and the overall aesthetic made for the most stunning backdrop.
What really stood out was how genuinely thoughtful the staff was. Small gestures like storing our mango ice cream so we didn't have to bring a cooler may seem minor, but it meant so much to our family. My family specifically asked me to pass along their gratitude, and that says everything.
The drinks and coffee were a huge hit, almost every single guest came up to me during the party raving about them. It was such a lovely touch that elevated the whole evening!
The whole night couldn't have gone smoother. If you're looking for a unique, intimate, and beautifully designed space to host any event, Storybook Café is the one. We will absolutely be back!
The only reason I’m giving 1 star for food is because of the pesto sandwich. I have a life threatening peanut allergy. Yes, I saw the signs saying that there are NUTS in the pesto but there are a lot of people with peanut allergies that ARE NOT allergic to tree nuts like myself. I have eaten pesto my whole life and I have never gotten an allergic reaction from it until today. I even make my own pesto with walnuts. Peanuts are also NOT considered a tree nut—they are a legume. The restaurants needs to put up PEANUT ALLERGY WARNING signs about their pesto sandwich IN ADDITION to nut allergy warning. Pesto traditionally typically DOES NOT have peanuts in the recipe so I was very disappointed. Ive had pesto at other restaurants and never had this problem. I could have died due to their lack of warning. Not even the workers there knew there was peanuts in the pesto.
Other than that, the matcha is VERY good, but the the specialty drinks are pretty expensive for the size you are paying compared to other matcha cafe’s I’ve had in the suburbs… If only there was a separate rating for drinks because I would give it 5 stars.
Edit: Customer service could also be better. I have been compensated for long wait times at other restaurants or if someone has made a mistake with an order. For example, someone made a huge order at this mediterranean restaurant I went to last week, and for the long 30 minute wait time, they gave me extra pita and extra hummus. Storybook cafe could have given me a free sandwich because they did not specify there was PEANUTS in the pesto. Or comped the cookie I bought. Service was lacking.
