- TGTeresa GriegolietAug 3, 20263.0Every table I looked at was dirty, the floor needed attention, and the overall appearance made it feel like the dining area hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. What was especially disappointing was seeing several employees standing around chatting while the dining room remained in that condition. The food was excellent, but the cleanliness of the restaurant took away from the overall experience. I hope management places more emphasis on keeping the dining room clean so the restaurant matches the quality of the food.

When i got home and opened the bowls 2 of the 3 bowls were incorrect, so i went back to have them fixed. They were remade, and “supposedly” fixed, but when i got home for the first bowl the rice was yet again incorrect. And for the second bowl i found a strawberry stem in there with a piece of strawberry hanging off of it(which i can provide you with a picture of it), that is absolutely disgusting. Chipotle sells nothing with strawberries meaning that it was most likely the lunch of an employee or something along the lines of that. That is so disgusting and unsanitary, that not only was someone’s uneaten strawberry in my literal bowl but it was also mixed in with food that you sold to multiple other people. And then to top it off when i made a complaint i was only given a complimentary entree for the incorrect bowl, and a “free drink” for the strawberry which is completely unacceptable. I should have at least received a refund.

After driving back to the location to complain about it, I get the "we are training new employees" excuse, instead of "how can we make this right". I understand that new employees need training, but where are the quality checks or any sense of customer service? They made their poor processes my problem and wasted my time twice - no thanks, Chipotle Elmhurst on Rt 83!
