    Ordered ahead of time , still waited 30+ minutes. Don’t bother , service is slow and they could care less about the customer.

    Dear Buffalo Wild Wings Corporate Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at the Buffalo Wild Wings location in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. My wife and I visited the restaurant expecting to enjoy our meal, but unfortunately, the way we were treated left us feeling ignored, uncomfortable, and as though we were being treated differently because of our race. The server who was initially assigned to our table was extremely inattentive. She did not check back on us, did not ask whether we needed refills, and did not provide the level of service I observed being provided to other customers in the restaurant. My wife ordered wings with honey barbecue sauce but asked if they could be switched to lemon pepper instead. I was told that the wings would be switched out and brought back shortly, but the waitress never followed up with us. I also did not receive celery or the other items that normally accompany my wings. When I was ready to leave, I asked for a box to take my remaining food home. The waitress took approximately 30 minutes to bring me a box. During that time, I watched her bring boxes to other tables, including tables whose customers appeared to be of a different race. This added to the feeling that we were being treated differently and that our table was being intentionally overlooked. There was also another interaction that particularly bothered me. My wife and I, were both wearing our wedding rings, and the server asked us whether our check would be together or separate. On its own, I understand that this may seem like a routine question. However, I specifically noticed that she did not ask the tables in front of us, behind us, or beside us the same question when they were preparing to leave while they had parties that were much bigger than ours. Because of the other things that had already occurred throughout our visit, this question felt stereotypical and made me uncomfortable. And truthfully I HAVE NEVER BEEN asked that question by a server in my life. Not when it’s just 2 people in a formal dating setting. It made me question why that assumption was made about us when it did not appear to be asked of other customers. What was especially upsetting was the contrast between the service we received and what I observed happening around us. Other customers were being checked on, offered refills, provided boxes, and attended to regularly, while my wife and I were essentially left sitting there without anyone checking on us. I understand that restaurants can become busy and that mistakes can happen. However, this experience went beyond simply being busy or understaffed. The repeated pattern of behavior made us feel unwelcome and singled out. As paying customers, we should not have to question whether we are receiving a different level of service because of the color of our skin. I am asking Buffalo Wild Wings Corporate to please take this complaint seriously, investigate what occurred at this location, and address the situation with the appropriate management and staff. I would also appreciate a response explaining how this matter will be handled. My wife and I have patronized Buffalo Wild Wings expecting to be treated with respect and given the same level of service as every other customer. What happened during this visit was unacceptable, and I hope the company will take the necessary steps to ensure other customers do not have a similar experience. I don’t even remember her name but I did leave a note on the receipt that said “give better service, and the tip went to Dan, I believe was his name. The guy who remembered everything by heart was GREAT. He wasn’t even our server but was the only thing good about the experience… I look forward to hearing from someone regarding this complaint and a resolution. Sincerely, Timothy Riley

    Horrible service,food,management…. We came to happy hour straight to the bar, I didn’t my bartender for 20 minutes past happy hour, finally manager came , we ordered food and drinks to make it easy… My girlfriend ordered wings n tots I ordered Philly sandwich. Wings came first,after 20_30 minutes I got my Sandwich totally dry as rock I was trying get something else but atmosphere Make me just cancel the order… Manager came over the then discounted Couple dollars,… not even got rear of the Sandwich I didn’t eat

    The service was excellent. But the teriyaki sauce was SO SALTY, the wings were small and the price was ridiculous. The potato wedges were very tasty and well seasoned. We had a total of 16 boneless wings, an order of regular potato wedges and 2 fountain beverages and paid over $50 including the tip. Not worth it. Also I thought the music was too loud, but I’m also not a fan of country… I’d come back for the potatoes, and maybe try something else on the menu besides the wings.

    This is quite possibly the worst Buffalo Wild Wings location I’ve been to. We came in on a day with a lot of empty tables, yet our food took longer than 35 minutes to arrive. I regret even ordering an appetizer because that didn’t arrive in a timely manner either. I wasn’t expecting food to arrive immediately as this isn’t a fast food restaurant, but I would have expected an appetizer like nachos to be sent out pretty quickly. I understand that there are others to serve, but I have never felt more neglected and forgotten in a mid-tier restaurant. When I asked about the delay, we were treated like an inconvenience. I am disappointed and will not be returning to this location.
