  Great organic options except my fruit is already rotten after 2 days. We got a great steak for $10. I like this place-should be open until 10-no self-checkout options

  I went to this grocery store for king crab as they seem to be one of very few grocery stores that offer it. $48 a pound. I thought ok I’ll get a pound to try. Not possible. The bag of king crab was pre bagged-every bag costing close to $200. Also these legs of “king crab” were smaller than the snow crab they were selling in bags next to it. And they were covered in ice from sitting there for so long. Of course they were because who’s buying tiny freezer burnt crab legs for $200 when they can get a bigger bag of snow crab legs for $100 ($18 a pound). This was a pricier grocery store and came across as a more artisan organic Whole Foods knock off and I knew that. But if you’re charging that much for king crab legs let them actually be bigger than the snow crab and not covered in ice particles! And yes most people aren’t going there for king crab and you shouldn’t either. I ended up getting 2 lbs at Sam’s Club for $50. They were large and not freezer burnt. Attached are pictures of the “king crab.”

  First shopper at Fresh Thyme in Downers Grove. Great customer service and friendly staff. I really like the very healthy and fresh food that they offer. I will be back!

  Fresh Thyme Market is a clean, well-organized grocery store with a great selection of fresh produce, organic/healthy options, and specialty products. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the store is easy to navigate. Prices can be a little higher than Aldi or Trader Joe’s, but the quality and selection make it a good option for fresh groceries.
