Great service every time…quick and efficient. The lentil soup, salads, wraps, falafel, chicken kabobs, ALL delicious!

Cedar grill's food is delicious, you must try! Chicken shawarma bowl and lunch size mixed cedar grill are our favorites. The fries, falafel, and now the spicy salsa are a great addition. The service is great and the experience has always been pleasant with the team. It's a 30 minute drive, but it's totally worth it. Getting off the plane, celebrating any occasion, or even after a surgery is the perfect place to bring joy to your taste buds. Lol

Perhaps this place could benefit if it moved to a better location for easier access and exit. The food is okay but after going here to dine and I get stressed out having to exit this parking lot. It is on a major highway Ogden US34 and near a road that confusingly curves Finley and becomes Belmont at that intersection. The problem is if one wants to make a left turn back onto Ogden to head (back) west, it is nearly impossible or very difficult with the cars zooming by at 45 mph to 60 mph. It is also difficult to get into the far left lane to make a left turn onto Finley if one wants. Also the entrance to turn into it can be confusing as well. On this day, I had difficulty even exiting the parking lot in a fresh car I wanted to protect and as some. of the inconsiderate customers decided to be standing in the pathway holding a conversation while I carefully tried to leave and then there were customers exiting the store so one had to look left and right back and forth to not accidentally strike anyone. Then the ones holding the conversation were looking at me strangely probably wondering why I was driving very cautiously and slowly, gingerly trying to slowly move closer to road/Ogden and there was another car about to exit in that tight parking lot. Then it was a nightmare trying to make a left turn at Ogden, that I gave up and thought maybe I could get over to the left lane to go north on Finley but with all the unforgiving cars and traffic heading eastbound or another car trying to turn into this area as well just made it impossible for me to go in the direction I wanted. So I had to just make a right turn onto Belmont and go out of my way for a bit and I was not totally familiar with that area knowing how to head back west on Ogden and somehow ended up at Hitcock and in Lisle where I could get my bearings knowing where the library was located (Kingston road leading there). Then from there was able to get back to Ogden via Front and Main streets. This place could benefit if it would just move to a better accessible location where someone could exit its parkling in 2 or more directions easily than to battle high traffic and difficult left turn due to unrelenting traffic and cars in both directions on Ogden (a highway, freeway 55mph cars going by). It may be just better to dine here and later exit when the traffic is less perhaps at night or something. Just a bad time to visit in the afternoon or something where Ogden and Belmont and Finley traffic is just non-stop and unforgiving in both or ALL of its or their directions. Maybe the business could provide some guidance or direction how to exit like suggested detour signs or instructions -- or maybe something like No Left Turn is recommended and how to get back to Ogden if one makes the right turn and not get lost.

This place is like going home to family. First time there. Read the reviews before choosing because my girl and I like to choose different restaurants when we link up. They greeted me the minute I walked in. And we talked about things other than their food. Plus they have a bigger dining area attached to the initial area you see when you walk in. And it can be rented out for events. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I absolutely love Cedar Grill in Downers Grove, it’s the best place ever! As someone who loves Mediterranean food, I’m blown away by how fantastic the flavors are. The portions are generous, the ingredients are authentic and high-quality, and each dish delivers that perfect “wow” factor that keeps me coming back. This spot is an absolute must-try! The woman that has taken my order every time I’ve been is very personable and sweet. They have fast service as well!!
