  So, I placed an online order (thru the Giordano's website) this Sunday for pick up at what I thought was half hour after opening...11:30am. Unfortunately, when I got there, the place was locked and an employee was waiting outside. Things happen...I understand that. But, I was given no explanation or apology. All I was told was I have a half hour wait for my order. I work with the public and find that type of customer service unacceptable. Never again.

  Place is a joke. Isn't ran like a restaurant, had no fountain drinks everything was bottled... sounds like a money grab to me... no seating and the people in here must be related to the owner cuz they were loud and yelling thru the whole, hole in the wall... bathrooms was locked with a key like a prison...

  Had to have some deep dish on this trip. My family took me here and it was so good! We got the cheese triangles, salad, garlic bread all were amazing. The deep dish cheese was awesome, and the meat lovers deep dish was out of this world. The service was really good too! Got our deep dish fix satisfied!

  Growing up in Chicago, deep dish pizza was a staple in our household, so no trip back is ever complete without enjoying a classic Chicago-style pie. It brings back so many memories, and this time we stopped by Giordano's in Des Plaines, one of the few locations that offers halal meat options. For anyone looking for authentic Chicago deep dish with halal toppings, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. We ordered the Meat Lovers Deep Dish Pizza, and it did not disappoint. The signature buttery crust was perfectly baked, creating the ideal foundation for layers of gooey mozzarella cheese, rich tomato sauce, and generous portions of halal meat. Every bite was hearty, cheesy, and packed with flavor, reminding me exactly why Giordano's has become one of Chicago's most iconic pizza destinations. As with any true deep dish, it's rich, filling, and well worth the wait. Whether you're a lifelong Chicagoan or visiting the city for the first time, Giordano's is a must-try for the full deep dish experience. The Des Plaines location makes it even more special by offering halal meat, allowing more people to enjoy this Chicago classic. Delicious, nostalgic, and incredibly satisfying—this pizza is always one of the highlights of my trips back to Chicago. 🍕❤️

  This is literally the WORST WORST WORST restaurant I have been to in the US with absolutely ridiculous rules. We were a party of 4 with 1 baby and they tried to charge us their exorbitant service charge saying we are a party of 5. The baby is literally 8 months and wouldn’t even be eating anything. We had to use their restroom and there wasn’t even a changing table for the baby but they had the audacity to argue that they will be ‘serving’ the baby too. Like okay please serve the baby by at least having a changing table??? And just for a heads up the halal pizza costs way way more than regular one we tried to get the meat and more meat and it cost $60 where a regular non halal would’ve been $40. We left without eating there because of this terrible behaviour from the staff. It was a small dingy restaurant. Granted that they do offer halal but honestly the kind of service they are providing does not justify going there for halal food. Terrible terrible terrible.
