  Another day and another photoshoot, this time in Decatur. at first I thought this would be another Mexican restaurant (I love Mexican food) where you will find tacos burritos and so on... They did have those items and they had the arroz con pollo or as they call it (White girl special). the staff working are all friendly and super nice, I can see how regulars talk to them and how they were treating the customers. I also got to meet the owner who was very helpful and made this a very smooth and productive session. They started bringing in the plates one after the other until they surprised me with 2 that I have not Sean before, the toasty and the egg roll.. these can be a part of a heavenly combo called the Birria combo plater that comes with quesabirria, birria egg roll and the birria toasty, all three with the birria broth is just an almost must try. and be sure that when they put a wedge of lime, this is not a garnish, you squeeze it on the broth and then dip any of these options to it and that would create the perfect bite. the contrast in textures and the explosion of flavors coming out of each bite is from a different world... that was the case with the roll and the quesabirria, as for the toasty, this is another level... its everything I mentioned and even more. the brioche Texas toast is toasted to perfection, the smoked good just adds another level of flavors to it and the hero in all three items would be the broth, it is that element that binds all flavors together. I know for a fact that if I am ever in this area, I will have to pass by and get at least the half a combo and if I was full, ill have to get the toasty....

  I placed my order because its what my daughter wanted for her birthday dinner. Everything was absolutely great! From the woman that greated me. She put everything together and carried it out to my truck. The quality of the food was absolutely the best I've had in a very long time. I can't say enough. ABSOLUTELY THE VERY BEST! Please let your staff know they did amazing. Thank you for making my daughter's 25th birthday dinner a hit.

  Solid taco spot, better than expected. We're vegetarian so good Mexican food is hard to find, but they definitely delivered. Some folks in our party got the ultimate burrito and really enjoyed it. If you're a strict vegetarian I would be wary though, some actual meat did end up in my tacos. Such is life. They also don't serve alcohol despite what the menu and website and name of the place would suggest, which was pretty disappointing. Not much in the way of decor either, kind of a "prison cafeteria" vibe going on. Great for takeout, though!

  O.M.G., the food here is AMAZING. We ordered the Mexican $2 taco Tuesday special, and they were so fresh and authentic. The chips taste freshly made, too. The salsa is made in house, and my husband said it's the best salsa he can recall having. Fair warning...the hot sauce they serve is HOT. My hb loves spicy hot food, but this had him sweating. I loved the cilantro lime sauce, and I typically do not like cilantro. Our waitress, Felicia was excellent. I loved how she sat with us for a moment, explaining all of the menu choices, since it was our first time there. Super friendly gal. We'll definitely be back. Hopefully, to try the buffet.
