- WEWilliam EdgarAug 12, 20261.0Date of Incident: August 5th, 2026 at 5:26 p.m. Location: Papa John's (Store #161) Manager Involved: Kim I am writing to formally log a serious complaint regarding an unacceptable and discriminatory experience at your store location on August 5th, 2026, at approximately 5:26 p.m. Upon arriving to pick up my carryout order, the food was not ready. When I attempted to pay with a $50 bill, Manager Kim refused to accept my payment, forcing me to leave the premises to secure smaller bills before I could receive my order. When I returned, paid, and received my pizza, the food was entirely cold. When I brought this to Kim’s attention, she ignored me completely, offered no apology, and made no effort to resolve the issue. Instead, she allowed her employees to speak to me disrespectfully and forced them to deal with the complaint. When I asked Kim for the contact information of the franchise owner or instructions on how to file a formal complaint, she escalated the situation unnecessarily by calling the police. I let her know that her handling of the situation was unacceptable and discriminatory, but she refused to acknowledge or address me as a paying customer. Calling law enforcement on a customer seeking basic managerial contacts and a resolution for a cold order is an extreme misuse of resources, completely unprofessional, and deeply concerning.

Accidentally put an order in for carry out and called them immediately to cancel it, they didn’t want to and insisted on getting my address to deliver it, okay fine. But after an hour of waiting I call back and they said if I want it delivered it’ll be an extra 4.99 for the delivery fee??? Why not just let me cancel it in the first place instead of making me wait for something you couldn’t uphold?
