  Our food was cold because they lost our order. We had to ask if we were getting our food. Even tho 4 people looked at us and never asked us anything while people that ordered after us all got their food. Our bag was sitting somewhere so it was cold. Half the people in back of the counter was just standing around doing nothing..

  Had a great experience at Portillo’s! The Chicago-style hotdog was delicious and packed with flavor, and the steak sandwich was juicy, tender, and incredibly satisfying. Portions were generous, and the food came out fresh and fast. The atmosphere had that classic Chicago vibe, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re in Chicago! 🌭🥪✨

  $17 for a beef sandwich meal that taste like plastic. There is no point of eating Portillos when your in Chicagoland now that they sold out. You got to make it right when your in Chicago, or the customer will just go eat at the good beef restaurant. I literally had feeling I should stop and pick up a second meal somewhere else, but why after I just spent $20 on one meal? I got home after working 15 hours, really hungry, and the beef sandwich literally tasted like plastic. I could not eat it. The employees were cool tho, but there is no point of eating at Portillos now that they sold out. They did not provide an itemized receipt, so I was blocked from sending my review to cooperate. Think its a game. They know their food sucks lol.

  Portillo's is a great place to experience a slice of a style of Chicago hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. We have stopped in at several Portillo restaurants throughout the area in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. To date, we can say with confidence that we have enjoyed our visits, the atmosphere, and the courteous staff. Specifically, the Crestwood Portillo's has been a staple every time we are in the area. In fact, the conversation goes like this, "we are heading out and flying out of Midway airport. On the way, we'll be stopping in at Portillo's for bite to eat." We've read several reviews about the restaurant experiences and we are disappointed the customers have had poor experiences. We hope they reconsider and give Portillo's another chance. These places are BUSY during lunch and dinner times and its understandable that a drop in quality is bound to happen. For us, the consistency in their food preparation has been very high. Because of this experience, we always have time for Portillo's.

  I would not recommend this location to anyone ribs were under cooked, ordered a sausage sandwich with peppers was given a piece of sausage on some dried out bread with no peppers, ordered bacon cheeseburger got a cheeseburger but no bacon on top of it being what appeared to be mass chaos from the employees and missing fries also multiple customers with similar complaints while we waited for our disappointing order DO BETTER BE BETTER PORTILLOS. I had to give one star because I couldn't give ZERO
