  My husband and I dined here last night and wow, what a spectacular experience it was! We ordered the seasonal fig & burrata special and it came with prosciutto that was so buttery and delicious, I will be dreaming about it. The steamed mussels in white wine sauce was excellent, as was the garlic mashed potatoes. My husband got the chicken and linguine dish and the chicken was sooo juicy and plump. We loved the old-school italian vibe inside too. I also need to shout out our waiter, John, who provided the most excellent service that I haven't experienced in a while. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We can't wait to come back soon!

  Food was delicious! 10/10 Ordered the chicken Parmesan and everything was so fresh tasting. The BAD part was the SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. We were seated quickly with a reservation we made at 6:30pm but our waiter was not attentive and our service was disjointed. The waiter seemed more attentive to the larger party behind us who may have also known the owner. He took our drink order those came out after 15 mins, then took our appetizer order and that took 20 mins. As we were done with the appetizer I realized our waiter hadn’t taken our dinner order yet. We tried multiple times to wave him down but he kept rushing to other tables and had to ask the busboys for our waiter to order our dinner. Our waiter finally got our order in 40 minutes after being seated. Our entrees did come out quickly but it took almost an hour since we got seated to get our entrees. There was just a lot of awkward down time between our food being served. The waiter did apologize that it was a busy evening but it made no sense since the couple next us got their food and drinks all before we did, even though we were there before them. We decided dessert was not worth waiting and quickly got our check after we finished our entrees.

  So happy we found this place! Dave, was so very friendly and had a lot of information for us about the restaurant. Angela , our bartender was so very personable and also had a lot of great information for us! The food was fantastic and this is on our list to go back to when we're back in town, we will take friends and family here. Thank you for the hospitality!   Stopped by Viaggio Restaurant Chicago for dinner and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm, upscale Italian atmosphere that's perfect for a date night, family celebration, or special occasion. I ordered the chicken parmesan with a side of homemade pasta, and everything was cooked perfectly. The sauce tasted rich and flavorful, the chicken was crispy yet tender, and the portions were generous enough to take some home. We also shared calamari and garlic bread to start, and both were fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing, making the entire evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. Between the excellent food, welcoming service, and classic Italian ambiance, it's definitely a place I'll be looking forward to visiting again.

  Top 3 Lasagna. Spectacular atmosphere, service, and food quality. Special place to take someone for a special event. Bread was fantastic too along with the peppers and oil.
