  We ordered online and had the food delivered. Everything was great. The Lemon French toast was delicious and the smoke sausage had a little kick. We’re visiting for the weekend and it was good to enjoy a local restaurant without all the fuss of going out.

  It was pretty basic. Food came out super fast and was okay which I super appreciate that but it was pretty empty/bare when I got in and I wasn’t expecting that 🫣 Took out 1 star from the food as my eggs came out a little burnt/hard - I asked for scrambled. I also wanted my nuts toppings replaced with a blue berry compote but I guess my server forgot.

  If you have a sweet tooth you must try the french toast flight with hot chocolate! My favorite french toast was the blueberry it I had to choose one. I'm not a huge fan of crawfish so the crawfish and grits were not my favorite however when I ate the grits with a side of the spicy sausage it was the best combo. You can go wrong with the biscuits and gravy, everything about that dish was beyond delious. It looks small but it is filling.

  On Sunday, April 26, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM, I arrived at Truth after leaving another restaurant where I had a very disappointing experience while trying to have brunch. From the moment I walked in, the difference was immediate. I was warmly greeted by the hostess, who was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I arrived alone and was asked whether I preferred the bar or a table. I chose a table and was seated almost immediately. Within just a few minutes (no more than 5), my server, who was also the bartender, came over, introduced himself, and brought me water. He was attentive, professional, and set the tone for the entire experience. He took my drink order, and my drinks were delivered quickly. Shortly after, he took my food order, and my meal arrived in a very timely manner. The food was phenomenal, fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what I was hoping for. The atmosphere was equally enjoyable, comfortable, welcoming, and well put together. What stood out the most was the service. My server (a tall gentleman who was also bartending) was exceptional, attentive without being overbearing, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. Everything flowed smoothly from start to finish. There were no excuses, no unavailable items, and no confusion, just a well-run establishment providing great service and quality food. This is a smaller, Black-owned business that is clearly doing things right, and I will absolutely be returning. I highly recommend Truth to anyone looking for a consistent, enjoyable dining experience.

  Food was absolutely to die for, service was respectful and fast, and the atmosphere was very soothing. The food came out quickly, hot, and yummy + fresh tasting. The french toast flight was behind incredible; it tasted very fruity, to the extent that it most definitely had real fruit in it, and it had a nice array of flavors. Our waiter was very nice and efficient, without being overbearing. The restaurant has an open layout, so that people don’t have to sit on top of eachother, and the music was some very relaxing r&b.
