  I am in Chicago for a good amount of time, I love tropical smoothie and chose this location as my most visited while I’m here and I really appreciate this staff. I’ve met several of the staff including the management and they have been nothing short of amazing ,. From patience , to customer service , all the way to accuracy with orders. I love coming to this location because they are very welcoming , very good at their jobs , and surrounded by such a supportive management team. I love to see them work as a team honestly it brings me joy as I use to be a barista and still love the atmosphere. Keep up the great work , you all are appreciated more than you know ! <3

  I always have a problem, this particular time I couldn’t stomach it. My order was suppose to be done when I got there… there were to associates one in her phone in the back and one at the back of the restaurant..didn’t look busy. When she finally came to the register I had to tell her I had a mobile order..which was on the screen and there were 2 customers in the restaurant one reading a book and one man had his food so there well’s no reason my food wasn’t done or being worked on before I got there. The one girl who saw I placed the order decided to blow her nose right there ..she washed her hand then attempted to make my snack wraps.. she went to the back so idk if she had gloves on. The other associate came out the back and was on her phone saying she was confused about what was happening in the store.. mind you they could’ve just made my order and figure their issues out after considering I was the only order on the screen and no other customer there needed an order to be done… I left because I was disgusted.. it was after the time my order was supposed to be done and if I was to stay I would’ve been late for work. Now i have to figure out how to get a refund

  The people here are super kind! Always wonderful people whenever we come in! The smoothies taste v good and im always satisfied whenever I try a new flavor / combo. The lady who usually works on Wednesdays with the cute nose ring is super kind as well!

  I’ve been to many Tropical Smoothie locations, but nothing beats this one! The staff here truly set it apart they’re always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely focused on giving customers the best experience possible. Corine and Destiny are especially amazing. They’ve consistently gone above and beyond, always helping me out and even remembering my order by heart (which still impresses me!). Their kindness, professionalism, and positive energy never go unnoticed. Even during busy hours, they make the effort to greet everyone with a smile and keep the atmosphere warm and inviting. It’s clear they care about what they do, and it makes a huge difference. They absolutely deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication. I highly recommend this location!

  Visited this location with three friends, and unfortunately the experience was frustrating from start to finish. We arrived together as a group, and right away there was confusion at the register. When my friend tried to order, the employee training the cashier told her she needed to point out the item on the menu because the cashier was new—which felt inappropriate and not something customers should be responsible for. Each of my friends was able to order before me, but when it was my turn, I was told I had to wait to place my order until the trainee “caught up.” I ended up standing there for about 10 minutes before I could even order. Because of that delay, my food didn’t come out until after my friends had already received and finished theirs. On top of the wait, multiple items were incorrect: the turkey bacon ranch was missing bacon, a smoothie had protein added that wasn’t requested, and a flatbread came with chicken instead of sausage. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for what should have been a quick stop. Between the delays, poor communication, and incorrect orders, it took much longer than expected and didn’t meet basic expectations.
