  My friend & I went on a Thursday for $1 wings. The place was jumping & the dj was jamming. Our server, Myah, started out good. But that nice demeanor changed. We ordered Hennessy wings (good), 6 fried wings (only rcvd 5, not her fault), fried green tomatoes & $5 Holla (catfish sliders). We also ordered drinks. We got both order of wings & 1st round of drinks. After that we rcvd nothing else. Myah checked on us 3 times, but never brought back what we asked for: cup of ice or the rest of our food. By now food kept coming out to 2 large parties that came in LONG after we did. You could tell they were regulars or KNEW the owners cuz they was basically getting VIP treatment. When I asked Myah AGAIN about the rest of our food, she said 'I don't work in the kitchen.' You could tell she was no longer n a 'happy place' cause she was snippy w/the couple next to us as well. We ordered another round of drinks still trying to make the most of it. Those came like 20 minutes. After waiting for close to an hour & STILL not having rcvd the remaining of our meal, we asked for the check. Wouldn't you know it after Myah gave us the check, she brought out some fried tomatoes. #TooLittle #TooLate The dj made the experience bearable!!! I know what it's like waiting tables, but MYAH could've done better. If each time you came by & we said we still hadn't rcvd food....GO CHECK ON IT, not bring some of the same items we been waiting on to the large parties that came in AFTER us.

  The food was beyond good, I ordered honey drizzled fried chicken and the meat was juicy, the Mac & cheese was delicious, the waiter and bus boy were both very welcoming.

  Was able to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday dinner. They accommodated our large RSVP of 16. Brittany did a wonderful job of being our server. My family said the food was really good and the place was very appealing

  From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine—nothing felt forced, just good energy all around. And the food? Absolutely top tier. Every bite was seasoned to perfection, fresh, and full of flavor you can actually feel. This wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Soule definitely lives up to its name—good food, great service, and a vibe that keeps you coming back.

  I was visiting Chicago this Sunday and ended up having a really great experience at this spot 😊 I actually found it on Google Maps and didn’t realize it was reservation-only, but thankfully they were kind enough to still fit us in 🙏 That already made a great first impression! The food was amazing - the fried green tomatoes tasted just like something a Southern grandma would make 🍅❤️ The fried fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender inside 🐟 The mac and cheese had a rich mix of different cheeses that gave it so much flavor 🧀 and the “Down in the Delta” dish was absolutely delicious 😋 Customer service was also on point 👍 The owner or manager came around to check on guests, which made the experience feel more personal. You could tell they have a loyal crowd of regulars too 👏 Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again!
