  I booked Somerset for my birthday brunch and it was quite disappointing. The service was subpar and the food was mediocre. I don’t mind the food but the service really left a bad taste in my mouth. On the reservation I had noted it was for a birthday celebration but there was zero acknowledgement or effort made to create an enjoyable vibe. The waitress seemed very disinterested in us. A friend of mine had brought a cake and no one offered to keep it in the fridge the entire time so we had to hunt someone down to ask. When we finished our food no one offered any assistance with the cake and again, we had to hunt someone down to ask to grab our cake. The waitress comes around, notices the cake box (after giving us the bill) and rudely tells us “by the way, if you open it here, there’s a service fee” and walks away. Didn’t bother to even mention how much the fee was, or offer anything else in relation to it. Couldn’t help but feel that she didn’t really want us to stay longer so we just paid and left. Everyone in my group was nice to our waitress (smiling, speaking kindly, please & thank you’s) so have no idea why she was so cold to us. Terrible start to my birthday celebration. If you don’t care about customers’ celebrations, then don’t even bother asking in the reservation. Will never be back. Ever.

  Breakfast was part of the hotel stay… massive and huge portions. Except no fresh coffee.

  It was a nice modern American restaurant. I love the filet and the peppers was a good addition to the steak. It did feel a bit small of a portion compared to other restaurants I been in the area. The Thyme Traveler taste a bit too alcoholic for me and it wouldn't be something I ordered again. I would ordered the filet again if I ever came back. :)

  Enjoyed a nice brunch here. I have food allergies but had to ask for ingredients and the server was unsure. They were accommodating and checked with the kitchen and all was good. Food was fair. Not great but good. The ambiance was perfect for Sunday brunch!

  First off, I have to say sorry for the late review - but this experience was too special not to share 💍✨ We hosted our engagement dinner at Somerset, and honestly, everything turned out even better than we imagined 😍 The food was amazing, the atmosphere felt elegant and warm, and the service was absolutely top-tier from start to finish 👏 Planning the surprise was actually stress-free, which I didn’t expect at all, and a huge part of that was thanks to Dulce, the Catering Sales Manager 💖 Her quick responses and willingness to accommodate every detail made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Randy, the Director of Banquets, was also incredibly helpful and played a big role in making sure everything went perfectly 🙌 The entire team helped create such a magical and unforgettable evening 🌙✨ It’s truly a night my fiancé and I will always remember with so much happiness. I can’t recommend Somerset and the Viceroy Hotel enough if you’re planning a special occasion - they really know how to make it feel extraordinary 💕🥂
