me and my family came here on our trip to chicago to each lunch and we were not disappointed. the worker, fatima, was very polite and patient as this was our first time here. i would definitely come back and hope they open a location near my home too.

Took 40 minutes when I was told 20 initially but I got a free lemonade for it. The final straw was the disgusting and inedible non gyro mystery meat that was served to me.

We tried their mushroom Swiss cheese burger and steak platter. The burger was good, but the steak platter was so salty and greasy. Didn't taste like steak. No idea why they named it "steak platter." It was moist and wet. It came with salad and fries. The salad didn't look very fresh, and the fries had a coating, and I'm pretty sure they weren't house fries. Most importantly, I wanted to tip the server, but she skipped before I added a tip. She thought I was going to skip it anyway. Bummer!

Delicious food at a reasonable price. I read about this place on Reddit after someone asked what was the best NYC halal cart food here in Chicago. The name says it all. I enjoyed the food and it was better than what I had on my visits to NYC, but I'm no connoisseur.

Food: Mixed plate (chicken and lamb) w/ white sauce: juicy, tender, and flavorful! Generous portions. Service: Friendly and patient. They stared to get busy and only had so many people in the back...but did their best to take care of everyone. Come here when you're not in a rush (at least during lunch hours) Atmosphere: Plenty of seating. Well lit.
