  The food was outstanding, I didn’t care for the music. The music was too loud. Everything I ordered was delicious my fish my side orders of potatoes and greens and my peach cobbler.

  Mimics is the BEST thing going in Chicago. If you don't stop through you're missing out. The atmosphere is nice. The staff is extremely nice. Jordan was the nicest, most hospitable young man I've ever encountered in an eating establishment. The food was excitement to my taste buds and that's huge to a self proclaimed GREAT cook. Please make a reservation and try everything on the menu. You will not be disappointed.

  I give it 5 stars, food is amazing I got lamb chops with jerk pasta and collard greens . Hand down amazing taste like my granny cooking… It was spicy , tangy, but had a kick that would knock a spice rookie out the building My wife had the stuffed salmon with Alfredo with side of broccoli her fish had bones in it so be careful but the whole dish very cheesy and delicious once again taste like my granny cooked in the back… I’ll be back thank you Amber for the suggestion!!! Black purple vibes 100%❤️ Liquor poured heavy but in the best way ❤️❤️❤️

  This was an takeout order: Maybe the food is better when you dine in. The food was honestly not good to me, the chicken alfredo tasted like it had dishwashing liquid in it. The cornbread was okay, but those chicken wings were dry as dragon breath. The greens were sweet and vinegary instead of having that good smoked flavor I was expecting. And the fish? It tasted like it came straight from a bodega. You know that distinct smell when you walk into a corner store? Somehow, that's exactly how the fish tasted. I can't explain it any better than that. The oysters were tasty, and the potatoes were chefs kiss. Overall, the food was definitely not to my liking; However, everybody's taste buds are different, and other people seem to enjoy the food. So don't let my experience completely stop you, try it for yourself and make your own call.

  Fish was fried and seasoned well. Music was nice. Service was great everyone was very nice and accommodating. However, I was unaware of the 20% service charge that was automatically added to our bill (party of 2). The service charge wouldn’t have been an issue if it went to the waiters and staff but it doesn’t. 20% service charge seems ridiculous.
