  I recently had dinner here and let me just say that the food is so delicious! They do not skim on portions either. The meats are so flavorful, juicy and tender. We also had the chance to meet the chef/Owner and he was so nice and we enjoyed our conversation. I am going to try to cater from them for lunch service at my job.

  The food is really good, the turkish coffee too. Took a chicken shawarma it have a special garlic sauce a bit different from normal one. Really good !

  Mezze is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why Mediterranean food, when prepared with care and respect for its roots, can be so extraordinary. I’m an avid Mediterranean-food lover and have been fortunate to enjoy authentic, homemade Mediterranean cooking for most of my life, so I tend to be quite particular about it. There is a noticeable difference between food that simply uses Mediterranean ingredients and food that truly understands Mediterranean flavors. Mezze absolutely falls into the latter category. The food here is authentic, beautifully balanced, and incredibly flavorful. What impressed me most is that nothing feels generic or overly Americanized. You can taste the thought behind the seasoning, the freshness of the ingredients, the textures, and the way each component complements the others. Mediterranean cuisine relies so much on balance—acidity, herbs, spices, olive oil, freshness, smokiness, richness—and getting that balance right is what separates an average meal from a memorable one. It is also evident that the menu has been carefully curated by the chef and owner rather than simply assembled around familiar Mediterranean dishes. There is intention behind the food. The flavors are layered without being unnecessarily complicated, and the ingredients are allowed to speak for themselves. That restraint and confidence are signs of a kitchen that truly understands the cuisine it is serving. For someone like me, who has eaten Mediterranean food in homes as well as restaurants for many years, authenticity matters enormously. Mezze delivers that wonderful combination of authenticity and refinement without losing the warmth and generosity that make Mediterranean food so special in the first place. This is not just “good Mediterranean food.” It is thoughtful, soulful, beautifully executed Mediterranean cooking made by people who clearly care about what they put on the table. A wonderful discovery and absolutely a place I would recommend to anyone who genuinely appreciates Mediterranean cuisine. I will definitely be back.

  The serving size was outstanding. There was plenty of food for two meals. The service was great. Our server was polite, courteous, very helpful, patient and kind.

  YYYYEESS indeedy!!! I will no longer be eating the greasy gyro on Jackson!! 47th off of Cottage is now the healthier and tastier version to fuel your appetite and body with food prepared by the owner/chef with love! You can taste the flavors of his childhood in the seasoned meat! This lovely HALAL spot has a very tasty potato salad prepared with dill! The white beans prepared with tomatoes and red onions were extremely delicious! From the counter host/server, the young lady handled the dine in guests with just as much care as the carry outs. I’m so glad I’d picked up my gyro plate meal with saffron rice. My meal tonight was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥! Thank you Mezze for meeting my palate’s expectations—a wonderful meal!!! It will be a pleasure returning to try your kebabs, soup, and other dishes.
