  Came here as we were staying at a hotel nearby to enjoy some delicious food and we were not disappointed. Great pork dumplings, Pad Thai with shrimp and the beef noodle soup was delicious. Overall a real pleasant experience.

  This is such a wholesome and beautiful place. Went here with my family and the service as well as the food was impeccable. Not to mention the staff were quick to get us a table, they were kind too like they actually valued doing their job, constantly checking in with us etc… I don’t usually write reviews but I had to this time to let everyone know how delicious and yummy this food was. It was surprisingly empty considering how amazing the quality was. My brother, who is a very picky eater, even said the fried pork dumplings were one of the best things he had ever tasted. If I could rate this 6 stars, I would. More people need to come here.

  Food is terrible. Ordered Duck wrap and sweet and sour chicken. Duck wrap was small in size and too much salty. Even panda express is better than this. Service was good though

  We recently visited Mei's to eat something quick. The restaurant was beautiful and we expected the service to be the same. As soon as we got in, there was a lady working at the reception who immediately told us "we're still serving breakfast" as if to dismiss us. We said that was okay and were seated after a while. There was only one other table that was dining in. The lady got our orders, we had our food and it was going well. We do not recall if she even introduced herself to us. While we were eating, she brought us our check, which was okay because we were not going to order more. But later when she was passing us, my husband asked her the directions to the bathroom and the lady asked me if I had paid. That really caught me off guard as if we were going to dine and dash. Even after I told her I had paid already, she came back again and said "you guys can leave whenever". I have never in my life been told to 'leave' an establishment even if it was a timed place like a K-bbq or a hotpot area. She seemed to be in a rush to get us out of that place as soon as possible, even when there were barely any people in the restaurant. Her overall attitude towards us was dismissive and rude. Really ruined our experience at Mei's.

  Mei's is a solid low-key spot in the Loop. Came through for breakfast with a friend, got eggs over easy w/ hash browns, pork fried rice on the side, plus coffee and OJ. Service was quick, vibe super chill. Nothing fancy but it hits every time. Easy go-to when you’re downtown and don’t overthink it.
