  While this was my go to for fresh bakery items - especially the banana pudding I was quite surprise and disappointed to hear they had been shut down due to rodent droppings and other safety violations. It’s truly hard for me to see the business in the same “light.” I’ve recommended this place to friends and family and ordered many of my holiday items from the store. It’s sad they allowed this to happened but I can’t take the chance knowing they don’t keep a clean facility.

  Of course I had to stop at Magnolia Bakery while I was in Chicago! 🍌✨ The world-famous banana pudding was at the top of my list, and it definitely did not disappoint. Creamy, delicious, and absolutely worth the hype! And as a Joanna Gaines fan since forever, I pretty much have to visit Magnolia whenever I get the chance. 😄 There’s something fun about finding a little piece of that Magnolia charm while traveling and getting to try it in different cities. The banana pudding alone is worth the stop, but for a longtime Magnolia/Joanna fan like me, it’s also just a fun experience. Chicago definitely got its Magnolia visit from me! 💕

  I visited the store today, and the two Chinese people at the register were very rude. I won't go back solely because of their rudeness and bad attitude.

  Magnolia Bakery en Chicago está en la zona Loop, lo que quiere decir que se encuentra en pleno centro comercial, financiero y turístico de Chicago, ésta sucursal abrió en 2011 y su central se halla en New York, ésta se hizo muy famosa porque apareció en la serie de “Sex and the City” y por su Banana pudding. Nuestro pedido y disfrute fue precisamente por ese “Classic Banana Pudding”, además de “Sea Salt Caramel Cookie”, “Banana Pudding Cookie”, “Red Velvet Cupcake”… todo para repetirlo! ❤️

  The last time I was here, I ordered 2 large banana puddings. I came from munster indiana that is 35m-1hr away based on traffic. The last time one of the puddings was very dry and I wanted to make a complaint but I didnt feel like going back down to magnolias because of the drive. Today, I was downtown for some business. So when I went to magnolias and said to myself im going to order 2 banana puddings. I brought back to my remembrance the bad experience with one being very dry. When I ordered, I brought this experience up to the young lady and she began explaining how the product is made and how someone could scoop the product (wrong) that leads to the dry banana pudding. Instead of compensating me for one banana puddings of the 2 this time, I paid for both which was very disappointing. The situation should've been handled differently. I shouldn't have to ask, what if this happens again. I drive far away that situations like this should be understood and no ones making this up. And I do want part of my order refunded.
