The pizza is just… bad. For a place whose “main” thing is pizza? Yikes.
They also block all but 3’ of the sidewalk between the sidewalk seating and a sandwich board. It’s impossible to walk past comfortably if you have a dog or if someone is coming the other way.
If you’re going to be a neighborhood nuisance at least have good food to make up for it.

The gluten-free pizza was awesome! It had a great amount of toppings, was flavorful, and didn’t feel like an afterthought like gluten-free options sometimes can. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place!

We ordered carryout and walked away completely disappointed. The food was overcooked, and the rib tips I ordered—a half‑pound—barely amounted to five pieces of what felt like shoe leather. The Italian beef, something I once thought was impossible to mess up in Chicago, proved me wrong. It had absolutely no flavor, and the bread we asked to be dipped came out looking like it got a light gravy mist instead of an actual dip. Dry and bland.
I used to love Leona’s. Their chicken Alfredo used to be incredible, and the quality was always consistent. I don’t know what changed, but unfortunately this will be my last visit. It’s sad to see a place that used to be so good fall this far.

The checkout flow of this place is really odd - come all the way into the store to order and check out, then hang back along the wall waiting for your order to be heated up, then pick up directly from one of the stations and probably cutting off folks trying to go up and order. Then the pizza itself is a bit bland - very little sauce, needs salt, cheese and pepperoni tasted like I went over to Jewel and bought the ingredients myself. Not really worth the $6-$7 a slice. Hoping to try again sometime for redemption. Miss the last Roman-style pizza place that used to be in this spot.
