I attempted to pay for four items (totaling $4.00) three separate times. Around 5:30 PM, I went to the service desk for help. Instead of assisting me, the employee was incredibly dismissive, stating, 'Well, if it didn't work at the other two cashiers then it won't work here," and walked away without ever attempting to look at the issue. The fix was simple: the previous cashier was new and didn't know how to process a gift card, so the card number just needed to be typed in manually. Because of her refusal to help I left my items in the cart and walked out. Security did stop me. If management wants to prevent theft, they should allow paying customers to complete their purchases rather than turning them away. Also, I stopped ordering delivery because the store is so disorganized along with never having many items in stock. The community isn't the problem here; the lack of support and poor service is.

Has not been in the Jewels on 75th street in years. First an associate was clearing debris from in front of the entrance. Shelves well stocked. Cheerful cashier. Last, thought I was going to use 'Nalah Barry' moves on a young man walking towards me, while unloading purchases from grocery cart. The associate acknowledged himself and took the cart. We'll alright now!

This location was neatly and nearly overstocked with all items. I've only been home a little bit over a year now. It's the only second time I have been in the store. I can't wait until I receive my FLEX card

Regarding an interaction I experienced at the front entrance of your grocery store involving a security guard identified as Clifton. I arrived at the store as a passenger and was being dropped off at the entrance while the driver planned to park the vehicle after confirming I entered the store safely. This was not intended to leave a vehicle unattended long-term; the expectation was simply that the vehicle would be moved once I was inside. Upon approaching the entrance, I was stopped and told that the vehicle needed to be moved before I could enter the store. I explained that someone else was responsible for the vehicle and that the vehicle would be moved shortly after I entered. For the next few minutes, I attempted to communicate this rather than immediately changing the plan, because from my perspective the vehicle was not being abandoned and the issue already had a solution in place. Instead of de-escalating the interaction or allowing the situation to resolve through normal store policy, the conversation became increasingly confrontational. Eventually, despite communicating that the vehicle would move and later complying with the instruction to move it, I was then told that I was not allowed to enter the store and that I was trespassing. That outcome did not make sense to me. If the concern was truly vehicle placement or store policy, there are established ways to address that concern. Vehicles can be warned, monitored, ticketed, or towed if necessary. Those consequences would have been my responsibility to deal with. What I do not understand is why the situation escalated into refusing me entry altogether after the concern had already been communicated and addressed. What concerns me most is the way the interaction was handled. I felt publicly embarrassed, spoken to in a way that felt unnecessarily authoritative, and put into what felt less like policy enforcement and more like a power struggle. My understanding is that security staff should be trained to maintain order while reducing conflict—not escalating a situation that could have been resolved calmly. I am requesting that management review any available entrance footage, confirm the actual policy regarding customer drop-offs and temporary vehicle staging at the entrance, and review whether this interaction aligned with expected customer service and de-escalation standards. I believe customers should be treated respectfully, given clear explanations of policy, and not denied entry after attempting to cooperate and communicate.
