  I’ve shopped their liqour department countless times for celebrations never has an employee stopped me in the department to card me. I understand at the register to purchase but walking empty handed seems a bit excessive.

  Online ordering from this store is terrible. Meat, seafood, doughnuts, chicken etc all always ‘out of stock’ no matter what delivery slot you have. They never replace anything if you just put best match and shoppers ignore anything in the chat. The store should do a better job of keeping their out of stocks accurate and ask their shoppers to at least offer a replacement. To top it off more often than not there is something missing from the order when it does show up. Going in there isn’t pleasant either, one of the worst Jewel in the city. Jewel online ordering should let you choose the store you want delivery from.

  This is one of my ALL time FAVORITE Jewel Oscos to shop at. The department sections are clean and kept up to date. Employees are attentive toward their job. The service is GREAT and you always leave with a smile.

  The recent store re-design has ruined everything. The store is a mess. Prices are high, aisles are long, and self checkout is a miserable process where an employee always needs to come assist. When shopping, employees are always re-stocking or doing inventory midday instead of at night like any functioning grocery store, making it a never-ending maze to navigate. As a celiac, I also noticed in their renovation that they completely removed the gluten free / allergen cognizant aisle, which was really helpful. And not only that, they discontinued all of the products I could eat. Whoever recently took over in management should be fired yesterday.

  Somehow this particular Jewel just doesn’t have it together at all. It frequently appears unclean, the staff are not friendly, prices are somehow higher than I’m used to at other Jewels, and most importantly they rarely have everything in stock. Self checkout has an odd sizing issue where many of the stations are too small to actually hold your groceries so you have to juggle them or put them on the floor. I don’t blame the people that work here though- pretty obvious that whatever manager in charge is super cheap which is how they got to this place. All that said they have been remodeling recently, which is its own nightmare, but hopefully once it’s done this will be up to the standards of other Jewels and actually functional grocery stores.
