  Secruity guard guard Tamper with the Pokemon machine like he owns it instead of working and monitors the store is more invested in the Pokemon machine. didn't want to give me his full name and tried to push me off to make a purchase of my items. management not taking accountability said they don't oversee that department

  Slowest line ever. App is not clear so customer can't even get a the proper discount. Which then waste everyone time. The new manager took forever to show up and remove a order. The order that needed to be removed because they wanted to the discount for the sale but couldn't because how complex the app is.

  The cashier's attitude was absolutely atrocious; she even publicly humiliated me. At the time, I wanted to buy a specific type of vegetable but couldn't immediately recall its name—something that, as an employee working there, she really should have known as basic common knowledge. However, simply because she herself didn't know the name of the vegetable, she refused to sell it to me. To make matters worse, she rudely shoved the item aside and told me that if I didn't even know its name, I shouldn't be buying it; she then accused me of standing there blocking the aisle and holding up the people behind me who were in a hurry to get home. When I went to the customer service center to pay for the item, she still wouldn't let me take it, insisting once again that if I didn't know its name, I shouldn't be eating it.

  This has to be the worst Jewel Osco I have EVER GONE TO! The front end “Manager” is what they called him. 4/19/26 2:30pm I was standing in line and the register went down. The young woman ringing told him and as she walked away, I listened to the “front end Manager” talk about her to the customers stating “common sense ain’t that common” as he begin to try and fix the register and continue to disrespect her and gossip about her. Another young woman ringing asked for his support with a purchase for an elderly woman and he begin to disrespect the older woman as she asked who to speak to about making the purchase. He was extremely rude and nasty to the elder woman repeating several times to her loudly, “My name is, you can tell, call…” he was completely disrespectful to her and in front of everyone was worst! By the time I got to the head of the line, I inquired if I should put my stuff on the belt as I heard him say, “the register is down.” He responded very rudely and rolling his eyes, “yes you can” I didn’t respond I placed my things on the belt. As he was done ringing me up, he just stood there and I asked for bags. He responded, “you need to go to the other register to put your number in.” I didn’t understand what was happening and wasn’t given any direction so I said to him why would I go over there to put my number in and my stuff isn’t bagged. As he begin to visibly get annoyed, he states well if you don’t put your number in I am refusing you which then lead to a back and forth because he said, “I am the manager and I can refuse and do what I want.” I exited the store after the “store manager” and other unprofessional workers came to either calm him down or watch. Not only does he need retraining the whole store is regularly disgruntled and it’s obvious he doesn’t have the skills or capabilities to be anyone’s manager as he does not represent Jewel Osco well or the people he manage.
