- AAAdam ArndtAug 8, 20262.0Food was mediocre AT BEST. Got the spinach artichoke dip with Cajun seasoning dusted chips. The dip was just spinach and hunks of artichoke... With a minimal sprinkle of cheese. It was not creamy at all. No flavor at all. The chips had zero Cajun seasoning dusted on them. Another customer actually negatively commented on the dip while we were there to the server. Also got the Cajun chicken pasta, which was supposed to be blackened chicken, which was not the case. There was tiny BITS of chicken, not blackened at all. Minimal flavor. The chicken Cesar salad was flavorless. Cesar "dressing" tasted like yogurt. The jambalaya was just ok. It had flavor and spice, but the sausage was way over cooked and chewy. For what the food was, it was way over priced. Could've went right next door to the steak house and got much better food for the same price, I just figured we were seeing a concert at the venue, let's try the restaurant while we're there. Being the house of blues, I figured they would pride themselves more on the food. I have no problem paying for GOOD food. The service, absolutely atrocious. In the hour and a half I was there, in the section I was sitting in FOUR tables got up and left due to having to wait for service. Just sitting at either an empty table, never being addressed by a server, or sitting with drinks (just water) waiting to order. Terrible service. Do better house of blues
