  I'm not a chicagoan so I might not get it but the deep dish pizza was only mediocre. Not much sausage or cheese mostly just dense bread. I liked the tavern style pizza a lot better.

  The chef must be missing his hands because the pizza dough is unkneaded and drier than matzah. Why you would ever go to this place when JB Albertos is a block away is beyond me.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) If you're looking for the ultimate Chicago deep-dish pizza experience, Giordano's absolutely lives up to the hype. This was hands down the best deep-dish pizza I've ever had. The pizza was loaded with layers of gooey, melted cheese that seemed to stretch forever with every slice. As you can see from the photos, the cheese pull was incredible, and every bite was packed with rich tomato sauce, flavorful toppings, and a buttery, golden crust that held everything together perfectly. It's the kind of pizza that leaves a lasting impression. The portions are huge, so come hungry or be ready to take leftovers home. The wait is worth it because each pizza is made fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. If you're visiting Chicago, Giordano's is a must-try. It's more than just pizza—it's an iconic Chicago food experience that every pizza lover should have at least once. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – The best deep-dish pizza I've ever had.   Took 45 minutes for the server to realize our order was not put in or not put in correctly. Did not check in on us at all in that time. We ordered a thin crust, deep dish, an Italian sub and Alfredo amongst the 5 of us. After an hour of waiting the waiter comes over and tells us the kitchen messed up the deep dish, yet our thin crust and Italian beef was not out either. We were there for an hour & 20 minutes and only half our food came out. Asked them to pack the remainder of our food because we had to leave. They offered to comp the deep dish but nothing else. They did however comp the additional food that was late after going back and forth & asking for a manager. 3 tables finished their food, another table was sat and they received their food before we even got attention from the server LOL. On the hour ride home, we were hungry to opened up the fries to snack on and we found HAIR IN THE FRIES!!! Highly recommend not eating here.
