  I ordered the Chicago-style pizza. Be aware that it takes quite a while from ordering to actually getting your food! The pizza was very delicious, but also extremely heavy, so during my stay I only ended up eating it once.

  I had such a great experience here from the moment I walked in 😊✨ The atmosphere was amazing, and the entire place looked beautiful, stylish, and absolutely worth visiting 🍕🏙️ I asked for a booth and was seated right away, which made me feel really welcomed and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit 💛 Even though I was dining alone, they constantly checked in and kept my soda refilled without me even having to ask 🥤🙌 I also appreciated their recommendation for a smaller meal option since I mainly wanted to finally try authentic Chicago deep dish pizza 🍕😋 The food, service, and overall vibe made this a memorable experience, and I’d definitely come back again! ✨

  There may be a short wait due to the large number of visitors, but the food was excellent and the service was good. We visited at 11 AM, right when they opened, so we were able to get a table right away. If you visit a little later, there might be a wait, but it won't be too long.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Giordano's. We rushed to get there before closing, even running red lights after making a wrong turn, and arrived at 10:52 PM. When we got there, the hostess told us we could still order at the bar. At the bar, we were redirected to the takeout line. We waited in line for over 8 minutes, and when it was finally our turn—menu in hand—we were told, “We’re closed. I’m not making any more pizza.” This was incredibly frustrating because we were already inside, already waiting, and had been told we could still order. My husband pointed out that closing time was 11:00 PM and that we had been waiting in line, but the response we got was basically “oh well.” It got worse when we asked for a manager. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, he came out and said, “If y’all gonna order, ORDER NOW AND HUSH because I’m closing my kitchen.” That level of rudeness and disrespect was shocking. To make matters worse, our two friends had been sitting at the bar for 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged them, and they were also treated rudely. I’ve always heard great things about this place, which makes this even more disappointing. As someone who came to Chicago excited to try this pizza, this experience completely ruined it for me. I will not be returning. I also have video footage of this interaction, so this review is based on documented facts—not hearsay.
