  Deep dish Chicago style pizza at Giordano's near Navy Pier was outstanding, with a buttery, flaky crust and generous layers of cheese and sauce that our whole group loved. But what really made the meal memorable was our server, Jesus. He was attentive from the moment we sat down, and brought those cold beer refills and he really knew how to pick the right moment for a refill and really made our experience special.

  We made a reservation for 8:00 PM, but were told there would be a 45-minute wait. We finally got seated around 9:00 PM. We had ordered the pizza at 8:00 because we were told it would be faster and that the pizza would be ready by the time we were seated. Unfortunately, the pizza didn’t arrive until about 9:45 PM, so we basically had 15 minutes to eat. The staff had already started cleaning around us because they were getting ready to close, which made the experience feel very rushed and uncomfortable. The pizza itself was really good.

  You can't visit Chicago without trying their world famous deep dish pizza. We had an amazing experience here at the Navy Pier location and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Josiah! He was warm, friendly, incredibly attentive, and made sure our table had everything we needed. To top it off, he even paused and helped us stage the ultimate cheese pull with our deep dish pizza so we could get a great photo and video to post online. The famous Giordano's stuffed pizza was piping hot, perfectly cooked, and delicious as always, but Josiah's warm and fun personality truly made the whole meal greater.If you come here, ask for Josiah—he gives top-tier service!

  You simply cannot wait three hours to eat two pizzas. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 PM and were told that we would have to wait two hours. We decided to wait because we really wanted to try the famous Chicago deep-dish pizza! We ordered our pizzas, and once we were finally given a table, we waited another hour before the pizza arrived — and only one pizza was brought to our table. The service was terrible. The staff seemed completely unprepared to handle such a situation. There were empty tables inside, while there was an endless line of people waiting outside, and then there was even another line just to pay. 😂 We basically spent the entire evening standing in line and waiting, only to eat one pizza among eight people, four of whom were children. 😞 It was a complete organizational disaster. After repeatedly pointing out the lack of organization and the unacceptable service, they eventually offered us the pizza for free. So yes, we left without paying for dinner, but after three hours of waiting, eight people still ended up sharing just one pizza. The pizza itself was good and definitely worth trying if you come to Chicago. However, I would strongly recommend choosing another pizzeria to try deep-dish pizza. There are surely places with much better organization and service. A truly disappointing experience.

  We came here, sat down, and placed our order. After waiting for about an hour, we still had not received our food. About 15 minutes before that, I asked the server about our order, and she told me that it was already in the oven. Then someone came and told us, “We forgot your order.” Seriously? After we had already been waiting for an hour? The manager came and apologized, and I accepted the apology. But then they told us that our food would take another 40 minutes. After waiting so long already, we were basically told that if we wanted to eat, we had to keep waiting. This was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. Poor communication, poor service, and a huge waste of our time. We came here to enjoy dinner, not wait nearly two hours because our order was forgotten. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.
