Actually this place gets ZERO stars. The service was TERRIBLE! The waiter was rude and he know who he is and the supervisor wasn’t better. They both spoke in Spanish and didn’t even apologize about the terrible and rude service. They need to Shut this place down. I felt like they didn’t want my service or a certain race not to be there. I will not be going there anymore and I advise everyone else to do the same!!!! 😡😡😡😡

Marvin j and the manager of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves the way they handled the lady who came in solo and did not receive good service. People spend their hard earned money and time patronizing these establishments just to be treated poorly. I will be dining in sit me in sit me Marvin J section and I will set him straight, I hope he doesn’t make another penny in tips.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Giordano’s in Hyde Park. I ordered a deep-dish pizza with extra sauce for my little cousin, and when we got home, the bottom of the pizza was severely undercooked. It tasted like raw dough, making it obvious that the pizza had been rushed and wasn’t properly baked. I called the restaurant simply to let them know about the issue. The manager immediately acknowledged that the pizza wasn’t cooked correctly and offered to remake it that evening. I politely explained that it was already late, I had already put the pizza in the oven to finish cooking it myself, and there was no point in picking up another pizza that night because it would go to waste. I asked if my name could simply be noted so I could pick up the replacement the following day. Instead of trying to accommodate a reasonable request, the manager told me that if I came the next day, I would only receive half off another pizza. Even more disappointing, after already acknowledging that the pizza had not been cooked properly, she suddenly began questioning whether it was actually undercooked and asked if I had photo proof. That was the most frustrating part of the experience. If proof was required, that should have been asked from the beginning not after admitting the restaurant was at fault. It made me feel as though I was being accused of lying about a legitimate issue simply because I couldn’t return to the restaurant that same night. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I was trying to avoid wasting food and simply requested to pick up the replacement the next day. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I was left feeling dismissed, questioned, and treated as though my honesty was in doubt. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, and I understand that. However, how a business responds to those mistakes is what truly reflects its commitment to customer service. Unfortunately, this experience with Patricia Who is a manager there fell far below the level of professionalism I expected from Giordano’s, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously so future customers are treated with more respect and understanding.

Our food came after other’s that were sat after us. We had to ask where our appetizers were. We had to ask where our pizza was. If we didn’t inquire I think we’d still be sitting waiting for food. No one paid attention to us, except the man filling our waters. Then the check had unexplained fees and charges. Nowhere on your menu does it disclose that you automatically charge gratuity for parties five and larger. Our waiter said those fees were automatic gratuity because there were five of us in the group. We’ve been a family of five for 18 years and five has never been considered a large party with automatic gratuity. And we shouldn’t have to ask what the fees are. It should be listed on the menu. What a frustrating and disappointing experience. Do you have to automatically charge those fees because your service is so poor that people don’t leave a tip?

I’ve eaten Giordano’s pizza for years. Today I had an order delivered to me and it was cold when it got to me. Like it had been sitting there for hours. It wasn’t even warm. The food was horrible. The fries smashed together everything was cold. I had to reheat the fries reheat the buffalo wings reheat the pizza! The food was just horrible no flavor or anything so I thought all these years I’ve been eating Giordano. I’m more than happy to say farewell after I spent over $61.00 for this order And tip the driver $5.00 dollars. Did the delivery driver leave the restaurant with cold food? This order came from Giordano‘s in Hyde Park, Chicago, Illinois. I tried to post pictures of the food, but for some reason, the app was not let me.
