  I appreciate the commitment to the British sports pub theme. The food/drinks selection was pretty good. What really made my experience stand out was our server Olive. She was awesome! Olive is super friendly and was very helpful with answering questions and making suggestions for my friend and I to decide what to get. Will definitely be returning and hope she’s our server again!

  went during happy hour. sausage rolls tasty, surprised at how good the curry ketchup went with it. the mini pies were all pretty good. the poutine was lukewarm and not really special in any way. the price for 2 entrees, a side, and an appetizer was surprisingly low.

  Had a great brunch at Elephant & Castle in Chicago this weekend. The menu leans classic British, and the bangers were especially on point. Flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you’d hope for. Big shoutout to our waiter Tristan, who made the whole experience even better. Super attentive, friendly.

  I would have loved to give this place all five stars but the way me and my finance was treated was unacceptable, it didn’t help that we were the only African American there but they sure treated us as such. The lady at the front was rude no one assisted us properly when we wanted to take out and to pay damn near 60$ for two things didn’t make it any better. Would not be visiting back here and if I didn’t pay cash I would have disputed that charge.

  Simply a superb experience with a wide variety of dishes, all of which felt fresh and well balanced. It’s peak American and British comfort food done right, with something for everyone on the menu. Elephant & Castle Pub is conveniently located at the Wabash and Lake Street intersection, making it an easy stop in the city. The place has a charming, nostalgic feel paired with great food and drinks. The indoor space is spacious and comfortable, ideal for relaxing and actually enjoying your meal. While outdoor seating is available, it’s right next to the train tracks, so it can get quite loud and make conversation difficult. Overall, a great spot for hearty food, good drinks, and a classic pub atmosphere.
