  My wife and I visited Chicago over a weekend and ate at Doner 97. Let me tell you it is the best Kebab sandwich I’ve had ever. I once had amazing Doner kebab in Berlin and couldn’t get enough, I’ve tried these everywhere I’ve travel to and this place takes me back to the best I’ve ever had

  Doner97 is mostly takeout with a few tables for dine in. As I was going up in the elevator my neighbor saw the bag and asked; how is that place? The answer is: pretty darn good! We had a combination bowl that had beef/lamb and chicken with Bulgur as the base and lettuce, tomato and onion topped with Tzatziki sauce. I added feta cheese and extra meat. Gotta say this was really good. We also got a falafel sandwich that was really large and tasty. I was looking for something that would be good and pretty healthy. The bowls at Doner97 were perfect in this respect! They also have the same ingredients in pita bread sandwiches. So, yes I’ll be back!
