    food was great , everything was very tasty. however the service was not good. the people serving food were nice but when it came to the register we were met with very hostile and rude attitude. we asked simple questions and in return were given nothing but mean answers. other than that everyone else was nice

    2nd time I’ve ordered pickup/delivery and i’m missing ingredients in my bowl with no explanation. This last order had 1/3 sauces on my bowl and missing a topping. Food is good though, better when I get everything I ordered and that has happened once so far when I ordered inside.

    Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on with this location. I tried giving them a second chance after my last visit a few weeks ago, when they messed up the meat in my Harissa Avocado Bowl and gave me what tasted like braised lamb instead of harissa chicken. I didn’t complain because I was already hungry and didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again today. They were, out of cucumbers, and once again they gave me braised meat instead of harissa chicken. It’s really disappointing because this location has been consistently missing the mark. At this point, I think I’ll just keep going out of my way to the Wicker Park location, since they’ve always gotten my order right.

    This was my first time visiting this CAVA location, and unfortunately it will also be my last. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 PM on July 4, 2026. While I was waiting in line with a friend, the manager, Ikigo, who was wearing a black T-shirt, came up behind me and forcefully struck me twice on the back with both hands without saying anything. I found this unexpected physical contact inappropriate, upsetting, and highly unprofessional. After that, Ikigo was yelling aggressively at employees, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for both customers and staff. I hope management reviews the security camera footage from around 8:15 PM on July 4, 2026, investigates this incident, and takes appropriate action to ensure customers and employees are treated with respect.

    I visited CAVA on Monday June 22, 2026 and left disappointed, not simply because my order was incorrect " lamb was hard portions was incorrect , but because of the lack of accountability when I tried to address the issue. There were multiple points of miscommunication between myself, the employees preparing my meal, and the cashier. After reviewing my receipt, it became clear that the communication breakdown affected both the preparation of my bowl and the way the order was processed. The portions were incorrect, my meal was not prepared as expected, and ultimately I did not eat the food. I later spoke with the manager " Christian "hoping to have a productive conversation about what happened. Instead of acknowledging the repeated miscommunication, he focused on explaining that the situation was not entirely the employees’ fault because pricing information was posted. While I understand mistakes happen and I was actually undercharged, that was never my primary concern. My concern was that there were multiple misunderstandings throughout the ordering process, and even after reviewing the receipt, the communication errors were still evident. Unfortunately, that aspect of the situation was never acknowledged. No effort was made to address my dissatisfaction with the meal, and no solution was offered. Customer service is not about being perfect; it’s about listening, understanding concerns, and taking ownership when something goes wrong. I left feeling that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. I hope management takes customer feedback more seriously in the future and works to improve communication between team members and guests to prevent similar experiences.
