  Casa Madai was really good. The food was fresh, had a lot of flavor, and everything we had was well made. The service was also great and everyone was friendly and attentive without constantly bothering us. The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere and it was just an overall good experience. You can tell they put effort into both the food and how they treat their customers. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend to other people. 5 stars.

  4.5 stars. We tried the 15 course omakase last night and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Every course was very good with no duds. The cocktails were very tasty, as was the Mexican sauvignon blanc. The gentleman (manager?) who took care of our drinks and general well being was very personable and definitely an asset to the business. The chef wasn't terribly engaging but he prepared lovely food, so we didn't care. All in all a very nice way to pass a couple of hours. Recommended!

  Had an excellent meal at the counter for the Omakase experience. Terrific blending of Mexican and Japanese cuisine. Chef is a wonderful host and has a great team there. We will be back again!

  Punching significantly above its weight, both in quality of food and in playing/ service. Be mindful that the portions are on the smaller side, and you pay for the quality, but it's more than worth it. I've eaten in Michelin 1 star restaurants that wish they had such flavor

  Came here for my birthday this past summer and was so pleased with the experience from start to finish. The chef/owner was friendly and knowledgeable. The server was attentive. And then food was delicious! My husband and I did not walk away hungry like you usually do in an omakase setting. Highly recommend!
