Our mission is to shift the culture around being vegan & vegetarian by cultivating healthier & flavorful versions of your favorite comfort food dishes.The owner is a successful women based in Chicago , converting everyone over one customer at a time. - BLBrazola Lyles3 days ago1.0I ordered from and on their website on July 1, 2026 at 11:30 am and never received my food. When I reported it to ( Anthony)the manager for a full refund he stated I will have my refund within 1-3 days here it's July 8, 2026 no refund, no return phone call, and no manager. I am very disappointed and will never support this restaurant anymore.

Lately, items have been missed, fries have been cold and stale, orders have been late, and customer service is almost non existent. I once swore by and recommended Can't believe it's not meat, to everyone, this was my go to restaurant for delicious vegetarian foods but lately the food and service have been "mid" so I am forced to look elsewhere.

So I went back to ask what brand of whipped cream they use because for being "vegan" it should mean dairy free as well. My understanding is that vegan means no animal products. The lady by the register came back and told me the brand was glenview farm non dairy whipping cream. I asked so there's no dairy in it right? She brushed me off saying it's 100% vegan, so no dairy. So I looked up the so called whipped cream and the ingredient states there's sodium caseinate, which is a milk derivative. So if you're allergic to dairy and wanted some "vegan milkshakes" this is not it.

The customer service was friendly and welcoming, and there is plenty of outdoor seating available, which I’d recommend since it was quite loud inside during my visit. What really stood out was the impressive selection of vegan menu items. I tried a couple different burgers along with the fries, and overall everything was enjoyable. The burger flavors were good, though not quite the best vegan burgers I’ve had. That said, the menu has so many interesting options that I’d definitely come back to try more. If you’re looking for vegan food with lots of variety and generous choices, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

But she’s also allergic to some nuts. The menu does state the items that contain cashew, so we double checked everything we ordered just to be sure. Our server seemed annoyed by this even though we informed him it was an allergy. I’ll start with highlights, the fried green tomatoes were sooo good. We did have to ask for the remoulade that came with it though. These also came out long before my daughter’s Bad and Boujee smoothie arrived, which, despite the wait, was very good according to her. We had asked if it was possible to sub a sweet potato in place of fries for one of the entrees. I guess it wasn’t clear that it’s two separate restaurants, so that made subbing difficult. It still came with fries, which were good but we had two entrees that came with fries so it was just a lot of fries. We asked about the sweet potato, which they did bring, but it was prepared mashed with cinnamon which we weren’t expecting, and they kindly took it off the bill. The vegan burger was very flavorful and vegan buffalo shrimp good. I got the hot honey chicken wings with greens and baked beans. The chicken was excellent, however the greens were bitter and I was disappointed at how much I did not want to eat them. The beans were ok but lukewarm. We got her vegan banana pudding before leaving to take home, after being assured there were no nuts. But again, the server seemed annoyed so I don’t know if he ever actually asked because she took two bites and her mouth and throat were immediately itchy. I tried to call the restaurant but they were closed at this point. I just thought it would be an easy navigation at an establishment that seems to really care about what’s in their food. People with food allergies already have so much anxiety around food. It would be nice if staff cared. Update: took a star away from continuing to be unreachable in regards to my daughter’s allergic reaction
