Went for my birthday and my friends first time here! Service is always exceptional, we were served by Jessica who was a great sommelier and helped us pick a really lovely palestinian white wine. Favorite items possibly the hummus maitake and spiced garlic rice. Its a good atmosphere for conversation as well :]
Overall one of the best dinners I’ve had in Chicago in recent memory. Avec has been our go to but we have another favorite now. The mataike mushroom hummus was insane flavor profiles wise. The wagyu and veal kabobs phenomenal amongst others there wasn’t anything we ordered that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Have already booked our next visit
Food, ambience, and service are all 5 out of 5 stars. However, the drinks are the reason we keep coming back over and over again. There’s a reason they have a Michelin star for their bar. Honestly, food deserves one too. Olivia is the best of the best when it comes to cocktails!!

What a restaurant!
The food was incredible, the service impeccable, the drinks flawless (you cannot walk out of here having only water, and it doesn’t have to be alcoholic), the chef’s journey full of surprises and amazing dishes. I will dream about the bread service.
I can’t recommend it enough. THIS is what “hospitality” means.
Will come back and recommend to anyone that will listen.
