  Hands down the most understaffed restaurant in Chicago. This is an intentional management decision to leave the ALK totally unsupported. This isn’t a complaint about the worker, they’re doing great, this is a complaint about management. It’s an awful experience for both customer and employee.

  Limited menu, as it should be. The chef is able to focus on the quality of the food, and they did. ALK is absolutely on my return visit list.

  Stopped in for a drink before going to our room for the night. Sat at the bar and the bartender didn't greet us, just handed us water and menus. We decided what we wanted to drink, and put our menus down. The bartender was doing things behind the bar and just looking at us. We were waiting for him to ask what we would like. Nope, he just keep looking at us. Finally, he said, "talk to me". Really? So rude. He did the same thing to the next people who sat down. Learn how to treat your customers. Also, the drinks were good but very expensive.

  My family and I are staying at the hotel so we decided to give ALK a chance and they did not disappoint. My kids loved the french toast and everything was very good! Not to mention, it was a very relaxed setting compared to busy restaurants.

  Very cool place. Great bar! Delicious steak and Avocado toast! I will be back!
