lowkey such a weird vibe my friend and i went yesterday around 5pm and we felt very unwelcome. hosts were just standing there talking to each other and completely ignored us until we figured out they were hosts and not random workers. said hi and it was mad awkward they didn't offer us a table upfront until i asked for a table for two. then shuffled around on their ipad and finally told us they would have us seated in a few minutes after we stood there waiting for them to figure their shit out. do not come here if you have no reservation i guess, even though i called before we arrived and they said it would be fine. just weird vibes and overall unprofessionalism despite how nice the place is.

The hardest part was honestly finding the entrance it wasn’t very clear so it took us a little while to figure it out. Other than that the atmosphere was amazing and definitely something different from your typical restaurant. I’d highly recommend making a reservation because it gets pretty busy. We did have to wait about an hour for our food but our waiter was incredibly friendly checked in on us throughout the wait and even brought us a few complimentary treats to make up for the delay. She also gave us some great recommendations which we really appreciated. The prices are on the higher side but the food was high quality and tasted great. Overall I’d definitely come back.

I wish I could give zero stars, but even that would be too generous for this absolute disaster of an evening. This was hands-down the most humiliating and wretched dining experience of my life. On Sunday, July 12 at 4:00 PM, my fiancée’s family flew in from LA to meet my family from Chicago, marking the first time our families have ever gathered under one roof. We chose this venue to celebrate our engagement—a once-in-a-lifetime milestone completely ruined by this establishment's staggering incompetence and utter lack of class. My fiancée personally spoke with the restaurant manager weeks in advance, meticulously planning every detail. He explicitly confirmed 100% that they could accommodate a party of 10 at a single table so we could enjoy our night together. Because of that absolute assurance, we trusted them with our special evening. Instead, we arrived to total chaos. The manager/host, Dana, callously led us to "our table," which was actually two completely separate, split tables, coldly muttering, “Here you go. We have this for you.” We stood there in absolute disbelief, entirely heartbroken. The only reason we didn’t walk out right then and there is because we were already stranded at the restaurant with ten people. We couldn’t just leave on a whim and try to figure out a "Plan B" on the spot for a party that size, especially since my fiancée had planned this so thoroughly based on the manager's empty promises. The dinner itself was an agonizing ordeal; we couldn’t even enjoy the meal. The table setting was a joke, lacking enough basic silverware and plates for our guests. To make it worse, the floor manager spent the entire night pacing around the room, intentionally giving us the cold shoulder and never once touching the table to apologize or acknowledge their massive failure. To top it all off, an automatic gratuity was tacked onto the bill. Despite the restaurant's abysmal management, we actually overtipped our server extra cash because this nightmare wasn't their fault, and they shouldn't suffer for leadership's incompetence.I am deeply disgusted, never EVER coming back, and ensuring that every family member, friend, and colleague avoids this place like the plague. We will actively spread the word so no one else has their special memories sabotaged by this pathetic excuse for a restaurant.

This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. We made a reservation for a party of 10 and were split into two separate tables. Instead of making us feel welcome, Dana (the manager/host/whatever role she has there) was dismissive, rude, and made it seem like we were inconveniencing the restaurant. Customer service starts at the door, and this place failed immediately. Then came the "salad." Calling it a salad is generous. It was literally a head of butter lettuce cut in half with dressing poured into the middle and almost no effort put into it. It looked lazy, unfinished, and completely out of place for a restaurant that presents itself as "upscale". If this is the standard they're proud of, they need to raise the bar. The only reason this review isn't entirely negative is because our server, Navy/Navi was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. He deserved far better than having to represent an experience like this. Unfortunately, one good server can't make up for poor management, and that's clearly missing here. disappointing execution, and a restaurant that seems more focused on its image than on delivering quality food and hospitality. For sure we won't be back.

One point for nice decor, ZERO point for a total joke on Vegans and Vegetarians. From starters to even salads, sandwiches to main courses, there is literally zero real food options in their menu for vegetarians and vegans. It is highly disappointing. A famous cafe of this caliber needs to realize that modern dining groups are diverse. I went to this cafe because my friends are not vegetarian, and it was on their wishlist for a birthday celebration. I had to go along for their sake, not by choice. I only had coffee and tea while people were having full lunches and dinner. For a famous cafe, their complete lack of vegetarian and vegan plant-based options is shocking. Their brunch, dinner, and lunch menu is a minefield of eggs, meat, and seafood, which is deeply disappointing and completely unacceptable. This clearly tells you how the cafe is not mindful or caring toward vegan and vegetarian guests. That score reflects the exact reality of this establishment: you are paying purely for the environment, because if you do not eat meat or dairy, you need to avoid this place entirely.
