Never been a huge fan of McDonald's, but I do a lot of road-tripping, and years ago they committed to installing high-quality wifi in their stores, so they've been kind of a port in the storm for me ever since. But this McDonald's in Champaign goes way beyond that. From the management to the newest staff, the people here are SO nice, SO decent, SO considerate. They make every customer feel like they're the boss (unless, of course, you're acting like a total jerk). And everyone's working hard the whole time. It's almost un-American. Don't know how they do it or why, but it's appreciated by many, many people.

I ordered a cold drink, on the app, in the drive-through. I got to the pickup window and I saw that they made the drink wrong. I asked for them to remake it. The employee got another employee, they both came up to the window and asked why I wanted it remade. I said because it was made wrong. Instead of just remaking that drink, they argued with me at the window, which is NOT how you handle that situation. I was told I would need to pull up and wait for them. For a Dr. Pepper with vanilla syrup.
No.
I waited for a few minutes, nobody ever came out. I left, called the store twice. First time the manager apologized, said she would look into it, and hung up. I called back, lots of noise but nobody answering the phone for over a minute! Luckily for them, I decided not to go back in person.
Now I have to call my bank to dispute a drink charge. All because these people dont know how to make a drink correctly. It's not that hard.
Their managers need managers. Seriously, get better. The service is embarrassing...
Nothing fancy here standard McDonald's that it could use a good cleaning it was not as clean as it should be That's why I only gave it three stars on average

How about just fess up to your mistake and apologize for getting peoples orders wrong?
I'm sorry you suck so bad you cant ever get an order correct.
Every time I come into this McDonalds they get my order wrong.
Every time!
And then when you go in to get it corrected, they still get it wrong!
There must be $100 of forgotten stuff or wrong things in orders by now, as many times as I went here.
Which makes the "going in and correcting bit" that much more frustrating.

I forgot to ask for no ice and I asked them at the drive thru window if it was too late to request the drink with no ice since they already made it and they remade the drink with no ice. I was so appreciative of that
