  Steaks are supposed to be top quality, but are definitely a level below Ruth's Chris, Capital Grill, Morton's, etc. Wine is overpriced compared to other restaurants (maybe +25%) with few really high quality bottles for less than $300. Service and atmosphere are adequate but nothing special relative to the competition.

  Popular, upscale restaurant close to UIUC. My wife and I had the bacon, wrapped dates and the baked spinach dip. Great place if you want a martini(yes they have blue cheese stuffed olives). We will be back, as our son still has 3 mores years at UIUC.

  I was out to dinner with some friends and we watched this server get absolutely diminished. Absolutely she was young and the manager yelling at her looked old. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, plus whenever my server(a different one) was serving my friends and I they were short with us and seemed like she didnt want to be there at all.. i could see why. Idk overall it was the worst experience of my life, so if you have a masochist streak in your blood, dont go here.

  Managers are rude to staff. The servers and food are the only saving grace of this place. Heard very toxic and rude remarks from managers to servers and food runners from the back kitchen. Good food but would never go back because how they treat their staff.

  Good food, but ridiculous quality control problems. E.g. twice in a row my steak was ridiculously undercooked, bordering on rare, and most recently it was cooked properly, but barely warm; it had obviously sat around for a good while (which was frankly no surprise, considering how long it took the food to be served). I really want to like this place, because it IS tasty when they get it right, but wow do they have some serious issues to address. Right now you should definitely stick to The Ribeye, or Baxters if you want a similar meal without the consistent problems.
